Selecting aircraft work package for viewing
This page allows you to select an aircraft work package and view its details. Tell me more.
Select the ”View Aircraft Work Package” link under “Aircraft Maintenance Program” business component.
The “Select Work Package” page appears.
Enter the following field in the “Direct Launch” group box, if you know the exact work package number for which the details must be displayed:
Work Package # |
The work package for which the details are to be displayed (Alphanumeric, 30). |
Select the “View Aircraft Work Package” link provided alongside to view the details of the work package.
Enter the following in the “Search Criteria” group box to search for a work package. Data entry in the following fields is optional:
Work Package # |
The work package for which the details are to be displayed. You can enter the number in full or specify it partially using the “*” character. The system retrieves all the work packages that are similar to the values entered here (Alphanumeric, 30). |
Status |
Use the drop-down list box to specify the status of the work package to be displayed which could be “Active” or “Inactive”. The system retrieves all the work packages that are in the status specified here. Leave this field blank if you wish to retrieve details of work packages irrespective of their status. The system sets the field to “Active” by default. |
Work Package Description |
The textual description of the work package to be modified (Alphanumeric, 150). Enter the description in full or specify it partially using the “*” character. The system retrieves all the work packages with similar description. |
Work Package Category |
Use the drop-down list box to specify the category of the work package. The system retrieves all the work packages that are in the category specified here. Leave this field blank if you wish to retrieve details of work packages irrespective of their category. |
Execution Type |
Use the drop-down list box to specify the execution type of the work package to be modified, which could be “Major” or “Minor”. The system sets the field to “Major” by default. |
Primary Model # |
Use the drop-down list box to retrieve work packages specified to a primary aircraft model. Leave the field blank to retrieve work packages attached to all aircraft models. The system leaves the field blank by default. |
Click the “Search” pushbutton to display the search results.
The system displays the following in the “Search Results” multiline:
Work Package # |
The number identifying the work package. |
Work Package Description |
The textual description of the work package. |
Primary Model # |
The primary model specified for the work package. |
Package Category |
The category of the work package. |
Execution Type |
The execution type of the work package, which could be “Major” or “Minor”. |
Status |
The status of the work package, which could be “Active” or “Inactive”. |
Click the hyperlinked work package number in the multiline to view its details.
Selecting aircraft work package for viewing – An overview
You can select a work package to be viewed, in this page. If you know the exact work package number you can directly enter it. Otherwise, you can carry out a search based on the work package number, status, description, category or type. The details of the selected work package, such as the work package number, its description, category, type and its status are displayed in the multiline.
