This page enables you to compare the various revisions of a maintenance program. Tell me more

The system displays the following field:

Date Format

The format in which the date fields are displayed in this page. This format is displayed from the "User Preferences" business component based on the login user ID. In case the format is not defined, the system displays the date format from the "Enterprise Modeling" business component by default.

The system displays the following fields in the “Maintenance Program Details” group box:

Maintenance Program #

The maintenance program for which the revisions must be compared.

Revision #

The revision number of the program to be compared.

Program Desc

The description of the maintenance program.

 

Zoom facility available.

Status

The status of the specific revision of the maintenance program.

Compare with Rev #

Use the drop-down list box to select the specific revision number of the program to which the selected maintenance program revision must be compared. The system lists all the revisions of the maintenance program for which contents such as work units, schedule information, dependent work units and scheduled for dependent work units have been specified.

The system retrieves the following fields in the “Comparison Details” multiline:

Level

The level at which the revisions are compared. The system displays one of the following:

  • Program – If the differences in the revisions are displayed for the maintenance program

  • Aircraft – If the differences in the revisions are displayed for the maintenance program associated to a specific aircraft

Entity Affected

The type of entity that is affected by the revision that is made. The system displays one of the following:

  • Work unit type, to indicate the type of the work unit in the maintenance program, which has undergone revision.

  • Aircraft, to indicate that aircraft effectivity details have been modified.

Affected Entity Value

The entity that has been affected by the revision. The system displays one of the following:

  • The work unit number if changes have been made to the work units of the maintenance program.

  • The dependent work unit number along with its schedule ID when dependent work units have been added, modified or deleted to the work units in the program.

  • The work unit number along with its schedule ID when schedules are defined for the work units in the program.

  • The dependent work unit number along with its schedule ID when schedules are defined for it.

  • The number of the work package along with the number and schedule ID of the work unit that has been added or deleted from it.

  • The aircraft registration number if it is associated or dissociated from the program.

  • The model number, if it has been added or deleted from the model effectivity details of the program.

Aircraft Reg #

The registration number of the aircraft if the revision change is due to the change in the aircraft effectivity.

Action

The action performed, which has resulted in the revision. The system displays one of the following:

  • Added / Activated / Inactivated / Terminated – When these actions are performed for the work units defined as a part of the program

  • Added / Deleted / Updated – When these actions are performed on the dependent work units in the program

  • Updated – When changes are made to the scheduled details of the work units as well as to the dependent scheduled details for the work unit in the program

  • Added/Deleted – When changes are made to the work units that are part of the work packages specified for the program

  • Added / Activated / Modified – When changes are made to the aircraft associated to the program

  • Added / Deleted – When changes are made to the aircraft models associated to the program

Information Affected

Indicates the type of information that is affected due to the revision. The system displays one of the following:

  • Basic Content – When changes are made to the work units specified for the maintenance program.

  • Dependency Definition – When dependent work units are added, deleted or updated.

  • Schedule Definition – When changes are made to the schedules that are defined for the work units.

  • Dep Schedule Definition – When changed are made to the dependent schedules.

  • Work Content / Seasonal Variations – When the work units in the work packages of the program have undergone change, or when off-seasonal period has been defined for the tasks in the work package.

  • Aircraft Association – When aircraft have been associated or dissociated from the program.

  • Model Effectivity – When changes have been made to the model effectivity details of the program.

The system displays the following fields in the “Record Statistics” group box:

Revised By

The login ID of the user who revised the program.

Revision Date

The date on which the program was revised.
