Defining aircraft model effectivity for a work package
This page allows you to define the aircraft model effectivity for a work package. Tell me more.
Select the “Edit Aircraft Model Effectivity Information” link at the bottom of the “Create Aircraft Work Package” or “Edit Aircraft Work Package” page.
The “Edit Aircraft Model Effectivity Information” page appears.
The system displays the following fields in the “Work Package Details” group box:

The work package selected in the main page, for which the model effectivity must be entered. |

The textual description of the work package. Zoom facility available. |
Primary Model # |
The primary aircraft model specified for the work package. |
Enter the following fields in the “Aircraft Effectivity” multiline:
Aircraft Model # |
The aircraft model for which the work package is applicable (Alphanumeric, 20). Ensure that the aircraft model has already been defined in the “Create Aircraft Model” activity of the “Aircraft” business component and is in “Active” status. The model number should be unique within the multiline. Help facility available. |
Note: Ensure that all the tasks and standard procedures, that are included in the standard work package, are applicable for the aircraft model entered here.
The system fills in the following fields on clicking the ”Edit Aircraft Model Effectivity” pushbutton:
Manufacturer # |
The manufacturer of the aircraft. |
Model Type |
The type of the aircraft model. |
Model Description |
The textual description of the aircraft model. |
Check the box in the first column of the multiline, to mark the aircraft model for deletion.
Click the Delete icon in the tool bar above the multiline to eliminate the aircraft model for which the work package is not applicable.
Click the "Edit Aircraft Model Effectivity" pushbutton to update the model effectivity details for the work package.
Defining aircraft model effectivity for a work package – An overview
In this page, you can define the model effectivity for the work package, that is, indicate the applicability of the work package for aircraft models. You can enter the aircraft models for which the work package is applicable, and the corresponding model details are displayed in the multiline. The system updates the details of the models and sets the last modified date to the server date.

You can identify the aircraft models for which the work package is applicable.
Enter the “Aircraft Model #” field, to specify the aircraft model on which the work package must be executed.
Click the “Edit Aircraft Model Effectivity” pushbutton.
