Specifying the details of seasonal work units in the work package
This page enables you to specify the seasonal work units in the work package pertaining to the maintenance program. Tell me more
Select the “Edit Seasonal Work Units” link at the bottom of the “Edit Work Package Information” page.
The “Edit Seasonal Task Information” page appears.
The system displays the following field:
Date Format |
The format in which the date fields are displayed and to be entered, in this page. This format is displayed from the "User Preferences" business component based on the login user ID. In case the format is not defined, the system displays the date format from the "Enterprise Modeling" business component by default. |
The system displays the following in the “Work Package Details” group box:
Maintenance Program # |
The maintenance program to which the work package is specified. |
Revision # |
The revision number of the maintenance program. The system retrieves the latest revision that is in a “Active” or “Fresh” status. |
Program Desc |
The description of the program. Zoom facility available |
Status |
The status of the maintenance program, which can be “Fresh” or “Active”. |
Work Package # |
The work package selected in the main page, for which the resource requirements must be specified. |
Package Desc |
The textual description of the work package. Zoom facility available. |
Execution Type |
The execution type of the work package, which can be “Major” or “Minor”. |
Enter the following fields in the “Work Package Details” group box:
Work Unit # |
Use the drop-down list box to select the work unit for which the off-season period must be defined. The system lists all the work units that are included in the work package. |
The system displays the following details after clicking the “Get Details” pushbutton.
Work Unit Type |
The type of the work unit, which could be “Task” or “Standard Procedure”. |
Work Unit Desc |
The textual description of the work unit. Zoom facility available. |
Enter the following fields in the “Off-Line Details” multiline:
From Date |
The starting date of the period during which the work unit need not be performed work unit (Date Format). |
To Date |
The ending date of the period during which the work unit need not be performed (Date Format). Ensure that the date entered is later than the date entered in the “From Date” field. |
Note: If you have specified “Recurring” in the “Occurrence” field, ensure that the dates entered in the above fields pertain only to the current year.

Use the drop-down list box to specify whether the off-season period applies only for the current year or for all subsequent years. The system provides the following options:

Click the “Edit Seasonal Task Information” pushbutton to specify the seasonal work units in a work package.

Select the work unit for which the period must be specified in the ‘Work unit” field.
Specify the period in the “From Date” and “To Date” fields.
Specify whether the period applies only to the current year or for all the subsequent years in the “Recurring” field.
Click the “Edit Seasonal Task Information” pushbutton.
Specifying the off-season details for the work units in the work package – An overview
You can select the work unit in the work package and specify the period for which the work unit need not be performed.. The work unit can also be specified as seasonal only for the current year or for all the subsequent years including the current year.
