Specifying the document references for the maintenance program
This page enables you to specify the details of the reference documents based on which the maintenance program was created. You can select the type of the reference document and the reference document for which the program was created.
Select the “Edit References” link in the “Create Maintenance Program” or the “Edit Maintenance Program” page.
The “Edit References” page appears.
The system displays the following fields in the “Maintenance Program Details” group box:
Maintenance Program # |
The maintenance program for which the maintenance events information must be specified. |
Revision # |
The revision number of the maintenance program. The system retrieves the latest revision that is in a “Active” or “Fresh” status. |
Program Desc. |
The description of the maintenance program. |
Status |
The status of the maintenance program, which can be “Fresh”, “Active”, “Inactive” or “Return”. |
Enter the following fields in the “Reference Document Details” multiline:
Ref. Document Type |
Use the drop-down list box to specify the type of the reference document for which the maintenance program is created. The system lists all the reference document types as defined in the “Create Reference Document Type” activity of the “Common Master” business component which are in the “Active” status. |
Ref. Document # |
The reference document number (Alphanumeric, 40). Ensure that the reference document is valid for the reference document type selected in the “Reference Document Type” field. |
Document Name |
The reference document name (Alphanumeric, 150). |
File Name |
The file name of the reference document. (Alphanumeric, 50). Help facility available. |
Remarks |
Any other remarks regarding the reference document details. (Alphanumeric, 255). |
Click the “Edit References” pushbutton.
Note: The system saves the details of the reference documents against the maintenance program.
Check the box in the multiline to select the document for viewing its details.
