Modifying the aircraft effectivity details of the maintenance program
In this page, you can define the model effectivity for the maintenance program, that is, indicate the applicability of the maintenance program for aircraft models. Tell me more
Select the “Edit Aircraft Model Effectivity Information” link from the bottom of the “Create Aircraft Maint. Program” or the “Edit Maintenance Program” .page.
The “Edit Aircraft Model Effectivity Information” page appears.
The system displays the following fields in the “Maintenance Program Information” group box:
Maintenance Program # |
The maintenance program for which the model effectivity details are being specified. |
Revision # |
The revision number of the maintenance program. The system retrieves the latest revision that is in a “Active” or “Fresh” status. |
Program Desc |
The description of the maintenance program. |
Status |
The status of the maintenance program, which can be “Fresh”, “Active”, “Inactive” or “Return” |
Enter the following fields in the “Aircraft Model Details” multiline:
Aircraft Model # |
The aircraft model for which the maintenance program is applicable (Alphanumeric, 30). Ensure that the model number is unique in the multiline. |

Note: Ensure that the model number entered here is associated to the aircraft maintenance program displayed in the “Maintenance Program #” field.
The system displays the following fields on clicking the “Edit Aircraft Model Effectivity” pushbutton.

The description of the aircraft model. |
Model type |
The type of the aircraft model. |
Primary Program? |
Use the drop-down list box and set the field to “Yes” to assign the maintenance program as the primary program for the aircraft model. Else, set the field to “No”. The system displays “No", by default. |
Note: The primary program identified for the aircraft will be updated by any engineering change happening in the aircraft through the Eng. Doc that is specified for it.
Click the “Edit Aircraft Model Effectivity” pushbutton to save the model effectivity details for the program.
The system saves the details of aircraft effectivity for the maintenance program and performs the following:
If the program is in the “Active” or “Inactive” status, the system creates a new revision of the program in the “Fresh” status.
If the program is in the “Fresh” status, the system retains the existing revision of the program.
If the program is in the “Return” status, the system assigns the “Fresh” status, on modification.
Modifying the aircraft effectivity details of the maintenance program – An overview
You can specify the aircraft models for which the maintenance program is applicable, and the corresponding model details are displayed in the multiline. You can also set the program as the primary program for the aircraft models. The system updates the details of the models and sets the last modified date to the server date.

Enter the “Aircraft Model #” field, to specify the aircraft model for which the maintenance program is applicable.
Click the “Edit Aircraft Model Effectivity” pushbutton.
