Viewing part effectivity for the MCR
This page allows you to view the part effectivity details for the MCR . Tell me more
Select the “View Recommended Part Effectivity” link at the bottom of the “View Maintenance Change Request” page.
The “View Recommended Part Effectivity” page appears.
The system displays the following fields in the “MCR Details” group box:
MCR # |
The number identifying the MCR for which the part effectivity details are displayed. |
Revision # |
The revision number of the MCR. |
Subject |
The textual description of the MCR. |
Source Doc Type |
The type of the source document to which the MCR belongs. |
Part Identifier |
The identifier of the part as defined in the “Create Maintenance Change Request” activity, which could be one of the following: |

Applicability |
The system displays either “Component” or “Engine” to indicate the applicability of the MCR. |

Part # |
The part number on which the MCR must be executed. |
Part Description |
The textual description of the part. |
Manufacturer Name |
The name of the part manufacturer. |
Reference Date Basis |
The Reference Date basis for the effective from date of the Part # which could be “Induction Date”, “Operational Date” or “Manufactured Date”. |
Eff. From Date |
The date from which the Part # is effective. |
Note: The “Reference Date Basis’ and ‘Eff. From Date’ fields appear only if the screen is launched for an MCR # whose Eff. From Date is ‘Maint. Obj. Level'.
Check the box in the “Select” column of the multiline to select the part for viewing the component effectivity details.

Viewing part effectivity for the MCR - An overview
You can view the part effectivity details for the MCR in this page. Part effectivity refers to the parts for which the maintenance change request is applicable. You can view the part effectivity details in this page only for an MCR applicable for “Component” or “Engine”.
This page allows you to view the parts on which the change advocated by the MCR must be performed. Details of the parts such as part number, its description and the name of the manufacturer are listed in the multiline.
