This page allows you to view the conditional effectivity details for the MCR. Tell me more

The “View Conditional Effectivity” page appears.

The system displays the following fields in the “MCR Details” group box:

MCR #

The number identifying the MCR for which the conditional effectivity details are displayed.

Revision #

The revision number of the MCR.

Subject

The textual description of the MCR.

Source Doc Type

The type of the source document to which the MCR belongs.

The system displays the following fields in the “Component Effectivity” group box:

On-Wing

If this checkbox is selected, it indicates that the MCR execution can take place when the component is fitted to the aircraft.

Inventoried

If this checkbox is selected, it indicates that the MCR execution can take place only when the component is not fitted to the aircraft.

The system displays the following fields in the “Parameter Details” multiline:

Parameter

The code identifying the consumption parameter.

Parameter Description

The textual description of the consumption parameter.

UOM

The unit of measurement for the consumption parameter.

Relational Operator

The relational operator that calculates the permissible range of values that the consumption parameter can take. The system displays one of the following:

  • <= - indicates that the MCR must be executed only when the value of the consumption parameter is lesser than or equal to the parameter value specified in the “Parameter Value” field in the multiline.

  • >= - indicates that the MCR must be executed only when the value of the consumption parameter is greater than or equal to the parameter value specified in the “Parameter Value” field in the multiline.

Parameter Value

The value of the consumption parameter.

The system displays the following field:

Other Conditions

Any other condition pertaining to the execution of MCR.

Viewing conditional effectivity for the MCR - An overview

View MCR - A summary of the activity

This page allows you to view the conditional effectivity details for the MCR.

The execution of MCR might depend on certain conditions that are defined as conditional effectivity in the “Create MCR” activity. For example, there may be a condition that the MCR can be executed only when the aircraft flight hours exceed 10,000. Such conditions are displayed in this page.

You can view the details such as whether the MCR execution must be performed when the component is fitted to the aircraft (In-Situ) or not (Inventoried). The consumption parameter that determines the condition for MCR execution, the parameter description, and the relational operator to calculate the permissible range of values that the consumption parameter can take and the value of the parameter are displayed in the multiline. If there are any other conditions specified for the execution of the MCR, you can view those details in this page.
