Viewing aircraft effectivity for the MCR
This page allows you to view the details of the aircraft on which the MCR must be executed . Tell me more
Select the “View Recommended Aircraft Effectivity” link at the bottom of the “View Maintenance Change Request” page.
The “View Recommended Aircraft Effectivity” page appears.
The system displays the following fields in the “MCR Details” group box:
MCR # |
The number identifying the MCR for which the aircraft effectivity details are displayed. |
Revision # |
The revision number of the MCR. |
Subject |
The textual description of the MCR. |
Source Doc Type |
The type of the source document to which the MCR belongs. |
Manufacturer # |
The manufacturer of the aircraft |
The system displays the following field in the “Aircraft Identification Detail” group box:
Aircraft Identifier Type |
The type by which the aircraft is identified in the multiline. The system displays “Aircraft Reg. No.”, “Manufacturer Serial No.”, “Variable Tab Number” or “Tail No.”. |
The system displays the following fields in the “Aircraft Effectivity” multiline:
From Aircraft Identifier # |
The starting aircraft identifier in the range of aircraft identifiers for which the MCR is applicable. Depending on the value displayed in the “Aircraft Identifier Type” field, this field may contain the aircraft registration number, manufacturer serial number, variable tab number or the tail number to identify the aircraft. |
To Aircraft Identifier # |
The ending aircraft identifier in the range of aircraft identifiers for which the MCR is applicable. Depending on the value displayed in the “Aircraft Identifier Type” field, this field may contain the aircraft registration number, manufacturer serial number, variable tab number or the tail number to identify the aircraft. |
Applicability Group # |
The number identifying the group to which the set of aircraft on which the MCR must be executed belongs. |
Reference Date Basis |
The Reference Date basis for the effective from date of the Aircraft # which could be “Induction Date”, “Operational Date” or “Manufactured Date”. |
Eff. From Date |
The date from which the Aircraft # is effective. |
Note: The “Reference Date Basis’ and ‘Eff. From Date’ fields appear only if the screen is launched for an MCR # whose Eff. From Date is ‘Maint. Obj. Level'.
Viewing aircraft effectivity for the MCR - An overview
In this page, you can view the details of the aircraft on which the MCR must be executed. MCR details such as MCR number, revision number, subject, source document type and the aircraft identifier type are displayed. The aircraft identifier type denotes whether the aircraft is identified by its registration number, manufacturer serial number, variable tab number or the tail number, in the multiline. The aircraft on which the MCR must be executed are listed in the multiline as a range of aircraft identifiers, identified by their starting and ending numbers.
