This page allows you to specify the details of the customers who would execute the MCR on their aircraft. Tell me more
Select the “Edit Customer List” link at the bottom of “Create Maintenance Change Request”, “Edit Maintenance Change Request” or “Revise Maintenance Change Request” page.
The “Edit Customer List” page appears.
Note: Ensure that the applicability of MCR is “Aircraft”.
The system displays the following fields in the “MCR Details” group box:
MCR # |
The number identifying the MCR for which the customer list details must be specified. |
Revision # |
The revision number of the MCR, if any. |
Subject |
The textual description of the MCR. |
Source Doc Type |
The type of the source document to which the MCR belongs. |
Manufacturer # |
The manufacturer of the aircraft |
Enter the following fields in the “Aircraft Identification Detail” group box:
Aircraft Identifier Type |
Use the drop-down list to select the type by which the aircraft is identified in the multiline. The system lists the following options: |

Customer # |
The customer associated with the MCR # / Revision #. |
The multiline displays the following:
Customer Name |
The name of the customer associated with the MCR # / Revision #. |
Enter the following fields in the “Customer Details” multiline:
Aircraft Model # |
The aircraft model associated with the MCR # / Revision #. |

Model Type |
The model type to which the aircraft model associated with the MCR # / Revision # belongs. |
Enter the following fields in the “Customer Details” multiline:
Operator # |
The code identifying the customer whose aircraft must be subjected to MCR execution (Alphanumeric, 45). Help facility available. |
Operator Name |
The name of the customer (Alphanumeric, 150). |
From Aircraft Identifier # |
The starting identifier number in the range of aircraft identifier numbers for which the MCR is applicable (Alphanumeric, 15). Mandatory. Depending on the option set in the “Aircraft Identifier Type” field, enter the aircraft registration number, manufacturer serial number, variable tab number or the tail number to identify the aircraft. Ensure that the number is unique in the multiline. Once entered, this field cannot be modified. Help facility available. |
To Aircraft Identifier # |
The ending identifier number in the range of aircraft identifier numbers for which the MCR is applicable (Alphanumeric, 15). Mandatory. Depending on the option set in the “Aircraft Identifier Type” field, enter the aircraft registration number, manufacturer serial number, variable tab number or the tail number to identify the aircraft. Ensure that the number is unique in the multiline. Once entered, this field cannot be modified. Help facility available. |
Note: Ensure that the range of aircraft identifiers entered in the above fields are not overlapping.
Check the box in the “Select” column of the multiline to mark the customer for deletion.
Click the Delete icon in the tool bar above the multiline, to delete the customers selected in the multiline.
Click the “Edit Customer List” pushbutton to update the customer list details.
Note: On modifying or deleting a customer from the list, the system removes all restriction codes mapped to the customer from all applicability groups.
Maintaining MCR customer List – An overview
In this page, you can specify the details of the customers who would execute the MCR on their aircraft. You can specify the details for a specific applicability group. Details such as the code identifying the customer, the name of the customer and the aircraft numbers based on the aircraft identifier type can be entered in this page.

List the customers who would execute the MCR
The list of customers can be defined by entering the aircraft numbers of the aircraft for which the MCR is applicable. You can select the aircraft identifier type and enter the aircraft numbers according to the selected aircraft identifier type.
Select the aircraft identifier type in the “Aircraft Identifier Type” drop-down list box.
Enter the customer code and the customer name.
Enter the range of aircraft numbers in the “From Aircraft Identifier #” and the “To Aircraft Identifier #” fields.
