This page allows you to record Compliance details for the MCR.  Tell me more

The “Edit Schedule Information” page appears.

The system displays the following field:

Date Format

The format in which the date field is displayed in this page. This format is displayed from the "User Preferences" business component based on the login user id. In case the format is not defined, the system displays the date format from the "Enterprise Modeling" business component by default.

The system displays the following fields in the “MCR Details” group box:

MCR #

The number identifying the MCR for which you wish to define the schedule details.

Revision #

The revision number of the MCR, if any.

Subject

The textual description of the MCR.

Source Doc Type

The type of the source document to which the MCR belongs.

Applicability Group #

Use the drop-down list box to select the group of aircraft, component or engine for which the MCR is applicable. The system lists the group numbers created in the “Aircraft Effectivity” page if the MCR is applicable for “Aircraft” or the group numbers defined in the “Component Effectivity” page if the MCR is applicable for “Component” or “Engine”.

Leave this field blank, if you wish to enter the compliance details with respect to the MCR and revision number combination.

Note: If you have already defined the compliance details across the applicability groups for the MCR, then ensure that you do not select any applicability group in the “Applicability Group” field.

The system displays the following fields and the fields in the multiline if the compliance details have already been defined for the applicability group.

Note: All the validations applicable for “Date Based” and “Date & Usage Based” Compliance Types are not applicable for “As Required” and “Perpetual” Schedule Types:

Compliance Type

Use the drop-down list box to select the compliance type for the MCR. The system lists the following options:

  • Date Based - Select this option to indicate that the compliance of the MCR is date based

  • Usage Based - Select this option to indicate that the compliance of the MCR is usage based

  • Date & Usage Based - Select this option to indicate that the compliance of the MCR can be date based and usage based.

By default, the system sets this field to “Date Based

Time Unit

Use the drop-down list box to specify the time unit for complying the MCR. The system lists the options “Days”, “Months”, “Month End” and “Years”. The system leaves the field blank by default.

Ensure that a value is selected in this field, if the compliance type is set to either “Date Based” or “Date & Usage Based”.

Threshold

The next scheduled value for the execution of the MCR (Decimal). Ensure that the value entered in this field is positive.

Schedule Date

The date on which the MCR must be executed (Date Format). Ensure that the date entered in the 'Schedule Date' field is in the format specified for the login user in the user preferences component to which the current component is interacting

Data entry in this field is mandatory if the compliance type is set to “Date Based” or “Date & Usage Based” or when the “Threshold” field is left blank.

Schedule Type

Use the drop-down list box to select the schedule type for the compliance of the MCR. The system lists the following options:

  • One Time – Select this option to indicate that the MCR must be executed only once.

  • Recurring – Select this option to indicate that the MCR must be executed at repeated intervals.

  •  As Required – Select this option to indicate the MCR must be executed as and when required

  •  Perpetual – Select this option ro indicate the MCR must always be executed

By default, this field is set to “One time”.

Interval Value

The interval value specified for the execution of the MCR in terms of parameters or days (Decimal). Ensure that the value entered in this field is positive. Data entry in this field is mandatory if the compliance type is “Date Based” or “Date & Usage Based” or the schedule type is “Recurring”.

Terminating Value

The terminating value specified for the execution of the MCR in terms of parameters or days (Decimal). Ensure that the value entered in this field is positive.

Terminating Date

The terminating date specified for MCR execution (Date Format).

If you leave this field blank and entered “Terminating Value”, then the system calculates the terminating date by adding the terminating value to the MCR ‘Receipt Date’.

Parameter

The code identifying the consumption parameter based on which the MCR compliance is determined (Alphanumeric, 40). Mandatory. Ensure that the consumption parameter is already defined in the “Create Aircraft Information” activity of the “Aircraft” business component and is in “Active” status.

The parameter code should be unique for the applicability group. It is mandatory to enter a value in this field if a value exists in any other column in the multiline.  Also, the existing field value cannot be modified.

Help facility available.

The system displays the following field on clicking the “Edit Compliance Details” pushbutton:

UOM

The unit of measurement for the consumption parameter.

Threshold Interval

The interval at which the MCR must be executed for the consumption parameter (Decimal). Ensure that you enter a positive value.

Compliance Value

The value of the consumption parameter based on which the MCR will be executed (Decimal). Ensure that you enter a positive value

Note: Ensure that either “Threshold Interval” or “Compliance Value” is entered for the parameter, if the “Compliance Type” is “Usage Based” or “Date & Usage Based”.

  • Enter the following fields in the multiline:

Repeat Interval

The value of the consumption parameter based on which the MCR execution must be repeated (Decimal). Ensure that you enter a positive value. Data entry in this field is mandatory if the compliance type is “Usage Based” or “Date & Usage Based” or when the schedule type is “Recurring”.

Terminating Value

The value of the consumption parameter based on which the MCR will be terminated (Decimal). Ensure that you enter a positive value.

The system displays the following field on clicking the “Edit Compliance Details” pushbutton:

Parameter Description

The textual description of the parameter.

Remarks

Any remark pertaining to the schedule of the MCR (Alphanumeric, 255).

Defining compliance details for the MCR – An overview

Edit MCR - A summary of the activity

The details regarding the compliance of the MCR can be entered in this page. The compliance of the MCR can be “Date Based”, “Usage Based” or “Date & Usage Based”. If the MCR execution has to be complied with before a particular date, then the MCR is “Date based”. An MCR, which is date based, can be executed only once or at repeated intervals.

Certain MCRs need to be complied with based on their usage type, which is measured in terms of the parameters. For example, if an MCR must be complied within 2,500 flight cycles after the effective date of the MCR, then the flight cycles is the consumption parameter and 2,500 is the compliance value. If the MCR compliance can be repeated at regular intervals, then you can specify the repeat interval value, say, 1,500 flight cycles. You can also specify a terminating value, say 5,000 flight cycles based on which the MCR compliance must be terminated.

In this page, for a “Date Based” MCR, you can specify the compliance date. You can also specify whether the execution of MCR compliance is “one time” or “recurring”. If the MCR compliance is recurring, you can specify the interval value.

For a “Usage Based” MCR, you can enter the parameter details and specify the compliance value, repeat interval value and the terminating value. Any other remarks pertaining to the compliance of the MCR can also be entered.
