This page allows you to view the preferred serial number and lot number details for the part for which requirement type is set to “Specific”.

The “View Preferred Serial / Lot Information” page appears.

The system displays the following field:

Date Format

The format in which the date fields are displayed This format is displayed from the "User Preferences" business component based on the login user ID. If the format is not defined, the system will display the date format from the “Enterprise Modeling” business component by default.

The system displays the following fields in the “Material Request Details” group box:

Material Request #

The number identifying the material request for which the preferred serial number and lot number details are displayed.

Status

The status of the material request which could be “Draft”, “Fresh”, “Authorized”, “Canceled”, “Partially Issued”, “Short Closed” or “Closed”.

MR Type

The type of the material request which could be “Planned” or “Unplanned”.

MR Class

Indicates whether the material request is created for “Maintenance” or “General” requirement.

Warehouse #

The number identifying the warehouse where you are located.

Warehouse Description

The textual description of the warehouse.

Line #

Use the drop-down list box to select the line number containing the part for which the preferred serial number and lot number details must be viewed. The system retrieves only those parts for which the requirement type is set to “Specific”.

The system displays the following fields in the “Parts Details” group box:

Part #

The part number for which the additional information is displayed.

Mfr. Part #

The number provided by the manufacturer of the part,

Part Description

The textual description of the part.

Part Control Type

The type of part control, which could be “Lot controlled”, “Serial Controlled”, “Serial & Lot Controlled” or “None”.

Stock Status

The status of the stock.

Preferred Condition

The preferred condition of the part.

Reqd Qty

The required quantity of the part.

Reqd UOM

The unit of measurement of the required quantity for the part.

The system displays the following fields in the “Preferred Serial / Lot Details” multiline:

Seq #

The order of preference in which the serial numbers or lot numbers are specified for the material request.

Serial #

The preferred serial number of the part.

Manufacturer Lot #

The preferred lot number of the part issued by the manufacturer.

Component #

The number identifying the component.

Available in Warehouse

Indicates whether the preferred serial number or lot number for the part is available in the specified warehouse or not.

Qty

The number of parts available in the warehouse / zone / bin.

Expiry Date

The date of expiry of the serial number / lot number requested.

Condition

The condition of the part.
