Modifying material request quick codes
This page allows you to modify material request quick codes.
Select the “Edit Quick Codes” link under the “Material Request” business component.
The “Edit Quick Code” page appears.
The system displays the following field:
Date Format |
The format in which the date fields are displayed This format is displayed from the "User Preferences" business component based on the login user ID. If the format is not defined, the system will display the date format from the Enterprise Modeling business component by default. |
Enter the following fields in the “Search Criteria” group box to search for a quick code: Data entry in these fields is optional
Quick Code Type |
Use the drop-down list box to specify the type of the quick code to be modified. The system provides the options: “MR Category” and “User Status”. It displays “MR Category” by default. |
Status |
Use the drop-down list box to specify the status of the quick code to be modified. The system provides the options: “Active” and “Inactive”. Leave this field blank to retrieve quick codes irrespective of their status. The system displays “Active” by default. |
Click the “Search” pushbutton to display the search results.
The system displays the following in the “Search Results” multiline based on the search criteria entered
Quick Code |
The quick code belonging to the selected quick code type or status |
Enter the following fields in the “Search Results” multiline to modify the quick code details:
Description |
The textual description of the quick code (Alphanumeric, 80)Mandatory |
Status |
Use the drop down list box to modify the status of the quick code. The system provides the options: “Active” and “Inactive”. Set the status as “Inactive” if you wish to disable this quick code from future reference in other activities. |
The system fills in the following fields in the “Search Results” multiline:
Created By |
The login ID of the user who has created the quick code. |
Created Date |
The date on which the quick code was created |
Last Modified By |
The login ID of the user that last modified the quick code. |
Last Modified Date |
The date on which the quick code was last modified |
Click the “Edit Quick Codes” pushbutton to update the modified details.
The system stores the server date as the “Last Modified Date”.
