This page allows you to view the flight code details. Tell me more.

The “View Flight #” page appears.

The system displays the following:

Date & Time Format

The format in which the date and time fields are displayed. This format is displayed from the "User Preferences" business component based on the login user ID. In case the format is not defined, the system displays the date and time format from the “Enterprise Modeling” business component by default.

Flight #

The code identifying the flight for the assignment (Alphanumeric, 30). You can enter the flight number in full or specify it partially using the “*” character. The system retrieves the flight code details for all the flights with the number entered here.

Leg #

The number identifying the leg in the journey (Integer). You can enter the leg number in full or specify it partially using the “*” character. The system retrieves the flight code details for all the flights with the leg number entered here.

From Station

Use the drop-down list box to select the station from where the journey starts. The system lists all the “Active” stations defined in the “Create Station” activity of the “Common Masters” business component. The system leaves this field blank by default.

To Station

Use the drop-down list box to select the destination station of the flight. The system lists all the “Active” stations defined in the “Create Station“ activity of the “Common Masters” business component. The system leaves this field blank by default.

Std. Departure Time

The standard departure time of the flight event for which the flight code is created. (Time Format). The system retrieves the flight code details for all the flights with the standard departure time entered here.

Std. Arrival Time

The standard arrival time of the flight event (Time Format). The system retrieves the flight code details for all the flights with the standard arrival time entered here.

Status

Use the drop-down list box to specify the status of the flight code. The system lists the values “Active” and “Inactive”. The system leaves this field blank by default.

Planning Region

Use the drop-down list box to specify the region for planning the aircraft routing. The system lists all the active regions that are defined in the “Maintain Region” activity in the “Common Masters” business component. By default, the system leaves this field blank.

Note: Leave the above fields blank to retrieve the flight code details irrespective of the search criteria.

The system displays the following data in the “Search Results” multiline.

Flight #

The code identifying the flight.

Leg #

The number identifying the leg in the journey.

Status

The status of the flight code. The system displays “Active” if the flight code is in use, and “Inactive” if the flight code is not in use.

From Station

The station from where the journey starts.

Std. Departure Gate #

The number identifying the standard gate in the terminal, from where the flight departs.

To Station

The destination station of the flight.

Std. Arrival Gate #

The number identifying the standard gate in the terminal, to which the flight arrives.

Std. Departure Time

The standard departure time of the flight event for which the flight code is created.

Std. Arrival Time

The standard arrival time of the flight event.

Time Unit

The unit in which the time duration is measured.

Est. Travel Duration

The estimated journey time from the scheduled source to destination.

Aircraft Model #

The unique code identifying the aircraft model.

Start Maint. Event

The maintenance event to be performed before the start of the journey.

End Maint. Event

The maintenance event to be performed after the end of the journey.

Crew Change ?

The system displays “Yes” or “No” to indicate whether crew change has been planned for the journey.

Planning Region

The geographical region defined for planning the routing of aircrafts.

Reference Time Zone

Viewing flight code – An overview

View Flight Code - A summary of the activity

In this page, you can search for a flight code based on the search criteria such as flight number, leg number, station, departure and/or arrival time, status of the flight code and planning region. Based on the search criteria, the system retrieves the flight code details including the details of arrival gate, departure gate, aircraft model, start/end maintenance event, planning region and reference time zone.
