Modifying flight schedule details
This page allows you to modify the details of the selected flight schedule. Tell me more.
Select the “Edit Flight Schedule #” link in the “Select Flight Schedule #” page. Alternatively, click the hyperlinked flight schedule number in the multiline of the same page.
The “Edit Flight Schedule #” page appears.
The system displays the following:
Date & Time Format |
The format in which the date and time fields must be entered. This format is displayed from the "User Preferences" business component based on the login user ID. In case the format is not defined, the system displays the date and time format from the “Enterprise Modeling” business component by default. |
The system displays the following details in the “Schedule Date Range” group box:
Flight Schedule # |
The flight schedule number selected in the previous page. |
Modify the following details, if required:
Status |
Use the drop-down list box to modify the status of the fight schedule, to “Active” or “Inactive”. Mandatory. |
Note: Set this field to “Inactive”, to disable the flight schedule from future reference in other activities.
From Date |
The date starting from which the flight operations are scheduled. |
To Date |
The date till which the flight operations are scheduled. |
Comments |
Any general information pertaining to the flight scheduling. |
Modify the following details in the “Schedule Details” multiline, if required:
Flight # |
The number identifying the flight for scheduling (Alphanumeric, 30). Ensure that this number is defined in the “Create Flight Code“ activity. Help facility available. |
Leg # |
The number identifying the leg in the journey (Integer). The flight number and the leg number combination should be valid as defined in the “Create Flight Code” activity. |
Note: The combination of flight number and leg number is called ‘flight code’. The flight code should be unique across the flight schedules. The leg number should be sequential. If no leg number is specified, the system assumes that the journey consists of one leg. In such case, only one row must be entered in the multiline.
Sch. Option |
Use the drop-down list box to modify the scheduling option. The system lists the values “Daily”, “Alternate” and “Others”. By default, the system sets this field to “Daily”. |
Sunday |
The standard flight departure time on a Sunday (Time Format). |
Monday |
The standard flight departure time on a Monday (Time Format). |
Tuesday |
The standard flight departure time on a Tuesday (Time Format). |
Wednesday |
The standard flight departure time on a Wednesday (Time Format). |
Thursday |
The standard flight departure time on a Thursday (Time Format). |
Friday |
The standard flight departure time on a Friday (Time Format). |
Saturday |
The standard flight departure time on a Saturday (Time Format). |
Note: If you have set the scheduling option as “Alternate” or “Others”, ensure that at least one of the fields from “Sunday” to “Saturday” is entered.
The system displays the following field in the multiline:
Flight Duration |
The total duration of the journey. |
Enter the following fields:
Status |
Use the drop-down list box to modify the status of the flight. The system lists the values “Operative” and “In-operative”. By default, the system sets this field to “Operative”. |
Trip # |
The number identifying the trip in the journey (Alphanumeric, 150). |
Remarks |
Any additional information pertaining to the flight schedule (Alphanumeric, 150). |
Note: Ensure that at least one record is entered in the multiline.
Click the “Edit Flight Schedule #” pushbutton to modify the flight schedule.
The system displays the following fields in the multiline, on clicking the “Edit Flight Schedule” pushbutton:
Created By |
The name of the user who created the flight schedule |
Created Date |
The date on which the flight schedule was created. |
Last Modified By |
The name of the user who last modified the flight schedule. |
Last Modified Date |
The date on which the flight schedule was last modified. |
Enter the following field in the “Document Attachments Detail” group box:
File Name |
The name of the document attached to the flight schedule (Alphanumeric, 50). Help facility available. |
Click the “View File” link provided alongside to view the file details.
Modifying flight schedule details – An overview
This page allows you to modify the details of the selected flight schedule. Details such as schedule range, status of the flight schedule, flight/leg number details and schedule pattern defined for the flight and leg number combination can be modified. You can also modify the trip details for the journey.
