Specifying alternate stations to flight code

This page allows you to specify alternate stations to which you can fly. Tell me more.
Select the “Edit Alternate Station” link at the bottom of the “Create Flight Code” or “Edit Flight Code” page.
The “Edit Alternate Station” page appears.
The system displays the following:

Time Format |
The format in which the time field is to be entered. This format is displayed from the "User Preferences" business component based on the login user ID. In case the format is not defined, the system displays the time format from the “Enterprise Modeling” business component by default |
The system displays the following in the “Flight Code Details” group box:

Flight # |
The flight number as selected in the “Create Flight Code” or “Edit Flight Code” page, for which the alternate stations can be specified. |

Leg # |
The leg number as selected in the “Create Flight Code” or “Edit Flight Code” page. |
The system displays the following in the “Alternate Station Details” multiline:

Alternate Station |
Use the drop-down list box to select the alternate station to which the aircraft can fly for the flight and leg combination. |
The system displays the following:

Std. Arrival Time |
The standard arrival time to reach the alternative station. This value is the standard departure time added with the estimated travel duration. |
Modify the following fields, if required:

Time Unit |
Use the drop-down list box to set the unit of time. The system displays the options: “Hours” and “Minutes”. |

Est. Travel Duration |
The estimated travel duration from the “From station” to the alternate station, measured in terms of the time unit specified in the “Time Unit” field in the multiline. |
Click the “Edit Alternate Station” pushbutton to update the alternate station details.
Specifying alternate stations – An Overview
This page allows you to specify alternate stations to which you can fly during a certain flight identified by selected flight number and leg number.
You can specify alternate stations and the estimated travel duration to reach the alternate station. You can also alter the time unit in which the travel duration is calculated. The system calculates the standard arrival time for reaching the alternate station.
