Assigning aircraft models to flight code
This page allows you to modify the aircraft models associated to the leg of the flight journey. Tell me more.
Select the “Edit Model Effectivity” link in the “Create Flight Code” or “Edit Flight Code” page.
The system displays the following in the “Flight Code Details” group box:
Flight # |
The flight number as selected in the “Create Flight Code” or “Edit Flight Code” page, for which the aircraft model can be assigned. |
Leg # |
The leg number as selected in the “Create Flight Code” or “Edit Flight Code” page. |
The system displays the following in the “Model Effectivity Details” multiline:
Modify the following fields, if required:
Aircraft Model # |
The aircraft model number for the flight and leg combination (Alphanumeric, 20) Ensure that the aircraft model number is defined in the “Aircraft” business component. The aircraft model number must not be repeated in the multiline. Help facility available. |
The system displays the following:
Aircraft Make |
The manufacturer of the aircraft. |
Model Type |
The type of the aircraft model. |
Model Description |
The textual description of the aircraft model. |
Note: At least one row must be entered in the multiline.
Click the “Edit Model Effectivity” pushbutton to update the details on aircraft models.
Assigning aircraft models – An overview
In this page, you can modify the aircraft models associated to the leg of the flight journey. The aircraft model number is defined in the “Aircraft” business component.
The system displays the aircraft model numbers that are already assigned to the flight and leg combination in the “Create Flight Code” activity. You can enter the aircraft model numbers and update the details.
