Modifying facility maintenance information of facility object
Click the “Facility Maintenance Details” tab in the “Edit Facility Object Record” page.
Modify the following in the “Work Unit and Schedule Details” group box.
Work Unit # |
Use the drop-down list box to specify whether work unit is a "Task" or "Standard Procedure".Specify the identification number of the task or standard procedure for maintenance of the facility object, in the field alongside. Help facility available. |
The system displays the following.
Work Unit Description |
The short description or name of the work unit. |
You can modify the following:
Authoring OU |
Use the drop-down list box to specify the authorizing organization unit for the facility object. This field is mandatory if the Work Unit # is specified. |
Interval Days |
The periodicity of maintenance for the facility object in days. For example, maintenance may be required for the facility object every week to sustain efficiency. |
Terminating Date |
The date when the facility object is to be phased out of operations. |
Last Performed Date |
The date of the most recent maintenance job executed on the facility object. |
Next Due Date |
The date of the next maintenance of the facility object. |
Alert Date |
The date on which the facility maintenance administrator gets the next maintenance due alert. Alert Date = Next Due Date – Alert Days |
Alert Days |
The number of days before the next due date, when the facility maintenance administrator gets an alert message. |
Expense Type |
Use the drop-down list box to select the type of expense incurred on the facility object on account of maintenance. The system displays one of the following values: Revenue or Capital. This field is mandatory if Work Unit # field is specified. |

Use the drop-down list box to indicate whether maintenance of the facility object is necessary. Select

Default Component ID |
The identification number of the default Work Center component for the facility object for maintenance usage. The system displays the Component ID values for the Object Type “Facility” defined in the Identify Non-Component Maint. Objects activity of Aircraft Business component. |
You can modify the following in the “Execution Details” group box.
COM Reqd? |
Use the drop-down list box to indicate whether Certificate of Maintenance (COM) is required.

Execution Facility |
Use the drop-down list box to indicate whether the maintenance for the facility object is done within the organization. The system displays one of the following values, “Internal", "External” or ” Internal & External". |
Exe. Work Center # |
The execution work center for the facility object. The system displays the work centers defined in the Work Center business component with “Active” status. This field is mandatory if “Internal" is specified in the Execution Facility field. |
Preferred Repair Agency # |
The favored repair agency for the maintenance of the facility object. This field is mandatory if “External" is specified in the Execution Facility field. Help facility available |
Main. Exe. Instructions |
Any guidelines for carrying out the maintenance job on the facility object. |
Work Status |
Use the drop-down list box to indicate the status of the maintenance job for the facility object. The system displays the following values: "Pending", " Initiated", "Terminated" and "As Required". |

Issue Status |
The issue status of the facility object. The system displays one of the following values: "Issued - Regular", "Issued - Maintenance" or "None". |
To proceed
Select the “View Standard Procedure Details” link to see the details of the standard procedure specified in the “Work Unit #” field.
Select the “View Task Details” link to see the details of the task specified in the “Work Unit #” field.
Click the “Ownership and Administration Details” tab to modify the ownership and administration details of the facility object.
Click the “Additional Information” tab to modify supplementary details of the facility object.
