Due Items popup

Popup Overview: This popup helps the users to assign pending maintenance tasks against aircraft, component or engine to packages. To start with, it facilitates the identification and retrieval of pending items against the maintenance object and then enables you to add them to the package for execution.

The Due Items popup appears displaying the following details:

Object #

The identifier for the maintenance object, such as Aircraft / Component / Engine # against which due items must be executed.

FH

The flying hours expended by the maintenance object till date (Aircraft / Component / Engine #).

FC

The flying hours expended by the maintenance object till date  (Aircraft / Component / Engine #).

Exe. Doc. #

The work package that you are working with or to which you wish to assign the due items.

Search For

Enter Task #, Discrepancy #, Task / Discrepancy Description, Discrepancy Type / ATA # and/or Log Item # for the pending items you want to retrieve by the search.

Overdue

Select the check box to display the tasks for which the due date has already passed by.

Due-Alert

Select the check box to display the tasks that have reached the alert value.

Due-Others

Select the check box to display the tasks that are yet to reach the alert value or will touch alert value shortly.

Note: You can specify Advanced Search Criteria alone or in addition to Search Criteria to retrieve pending items.

Due In

The number of days, hours or minutes by the end of which the task will become due for execution.

Remaining Value

From the drop-down list box, select the triggering parameter for the task.

Use the drop-down list box alongside to select the triggering parameter.

From

Enter the start value in the range of parameter values

To

Enter the end value in the range of parameter values

Job Type

Use the Job Type drop-down list box to select the job type of the due / overdue task / deferred discrepancy that you want to retrieve against the aircraft. The drop-down list box displays the following:

  •   Aircraft

  •  On-Wing

  • Off-Wing

  • Component Removal

Search On

Use the drop-down list box to select the task attribute on the basis of which the items due for execution on the aircraft must be retrieved. The drop-down list box displays the following:

  • Task Category

  • Exe. Phase

  • Eng. Doc. #

  • Work Center #

  • Part #

  • Serial #

  • Zone #

Enter the value for the selected attribute in the input box next.

Search Results section

Tiles Description

Selected

The total count of all the tasks due / overdue for execution on the maintenance object.

Scheduled Tasks

The count of tasks in the package that have been scheduled for execution.

AS Required Tasks

The count of As Required tasks those are now due for execution.

Deferred Discreps.

The count of deferred discrepancies in the packages currently in the Planned, In-Progress, Completed or  Closed status.

Pending Discreps.

The count of deferred discrepancies for which the deferral date  has passed by or deferral  value has been reached.

Multiline

Due

Indicate the task is due for execution on the part

Task / Discrep #

The task # / discrepancy # that is due for execution on the part.

Description

The description of the task / description.

ATA #

The ATA chapter associated with the task.

Type

The user-defined task type.

Log Item #

The Log Item # of the deferred / pending discrepancy against the aircraft.

Note: This field will display blank for tasks.

Job

The job type of the task, such as Aircraft, Component Removal, Off-Wing or On-Wing.

EO #

The engineering order reference for the task.

Part #

The part in the maintenance object on which the task is due for execution.

Serial #

The serial # of the part in the maintenance object on which the task is due for execution.

Rem. FC

The flying cycles after which the task will become due for execution on the maintenance object.

Rem. FH

The flying hours after which the task will become due for execution on the maintenance object.

Rem. Days

The number of days after of which the task will become due for execution.

Trig. Param.

The parameter that triggers the task for execution.

Exe. Doc. #

The package in which the discrepancy was deferred for execution.

You can see that the pending item has been added in the multiline of the Task / Discrepancy tab in the Work Reporting Hub page.

Note: Upon addition of a deferred discrepancy to the package, the sign off requirements will copied as existing for the discrepancy in the previous package in which it was deferred.
