Initiate Exchange / Swaps – A summary of the activity

This activity helps you to create an exchange order for customer parts. Exchange has to be initiated using a Shop Work Order, Repair Order or a Material Request as reference document. Once the exchange order is created it is possible to source parts for exchange. Part can be sourced from inventory or from another Shop Work Order. It is possible to identify specific serial # / lot # in inventory to satisfy an exchange. The page will also enable you to track various events that has happened against the exchange order.
