Generating Engineering Doc. Compliance Report
Select the “Generating Engineering Doc. Compliance Report” link under the “Engineering Document” business component.
The “ Engineering Doc. Compliance Report” page appears.
Enter the following in the “Search Criteria” group box to retrieve an aircraft or a component for which you wish to generate the Engineering Doc. Compliance report.
Maint. Object # |
Use the drop-down list box to select the type of the maintenance object for which you wish to generate Engineering Doc. Compliance report. Mandatory. The drop-down list box displays the following: Aircraft Reg. #, Model #, Part #, Part #/Serial #, Component # and Attached Components. Enter the identification number of the maintenance object in the input field alongside. For components or serialized parts, enter the serial # in the second input field. The maintenance object that you specify here must be Active and currently valid as defined in the Aircraft or Part Administration business component. Note: If you have accessed the “Engineering Doc. Compliance Report” page in a Field base, the dropdown box displays aircraft mapped to the offline area. Help facility available |
Date From/To |
Use the drop-down list box to select the date type based on which you wish to retrieve engineering documents. The drop-down list box displays the following date types: MCR Issue Date, Effective From, MCR Receipt Date and Eng. Doc Released Date. In the next two fields, enter the start and end dates of the period relating to which you wish to retrieve documents. For example, if you have selected MCR Receipt Date in the first drop-down list box, the search would retrieve engineering documents with MCR receipt date falling in the period between the dates that you specify. |
Display |
Use the drop-down to indicate whether you wish to find only complied or all engineering documents associated with the maintenance object. The drop-down list box displays the following: All, Compiled and Open. Select:

MCR # |
The code identifying the Maintenance Change Request (MCR). The search retrieves those engineering documents with MCR # that you specify here. Help facility available |
MCR Attributes |
Use the first drop-down list box to select the MCR attribute for which you wish to specify a value. The drop-down list box displays the following: Source Doc. Type and Source. The second drop-down displays the valid reference document types, if you have selected Source Doc. Type in the first drop-down list box. Alternatively, the drop-down list box displays External and Internal, if you have selected Source in the first drop-down list box. The search retrieves engineering documents of the source document type or engineering documents and MCR #s internally or externally sourced as selected in the second drop-down list box. |
Eng. Schedule Type |
Use the drop-down list to select Eng. Schedule Type of the engineering document. The drop-down list box displays the following: Schedule-Tracked, Non-Tracked, As Required and Perpetual. The search retrieves engineering documents of the engineering schedule type that you have selected here. |
Eng. Doc. # |
The identification code of the engineering document. The search retrieves details of the engineering document possessing the code you specify here. Help facility available |
Eng. Doc. Attributes |
Use the first drop-down list box to select the engineering document attribute for which you wish to specify a value. The drop-down list box displays the following: Applicability and Eng. Doc. Type.

Addl. Search On |
Use the drop-down list box to select an additional engineering document attribute on which you want to base the search. The drop-down list box displays the following: ATA #, Task # and Task Description. Use the second drop-down list box to select a value for the engineering doc attribute. The search retrieves engineering documents associated with the ATA #, task # or task description that you specify here. |
Ref. Doc. Type / Doc # |
Use the drop-down list box to select the type of the reference document associated with the MCR #/engineering doc #. Specify the reference document # in the input field available alongside. |
Select the “Generate Report” pushbutton to generate Engineering Doc. Compliance report.
