This page allows you to view the details of the engineering documents raised against the aircraft or component. Tell me more.

The “View Engineering Document” page appears.

The system displays the following field:

Date Format

The format in which the date field is displayed in this page. This format is displayed from the "User Preferences" business component based on the login user ID. In case the format is not defined, the system displays the date format from the "Enterprise Modeling" business component by default.

The system displays the following fields:

Aircraft Reg #

The registration number of the aircraft, on which the engineering documents listed in the multiline, are raised.

Variable Tab #

The variable tab number of the aircraft on which the engineering documents listed in the multiline, are raised.

Part #

The part number to which the component belongs.

Component #

The number identifying the component on which the engineering documents listed in the multiline, are raised.

The system displays the following fields in the “engineering document Details” multiline:

Note: The details of the engineering documents with the earliest created date will be displayed first.

Eng. Doc #

The number identifying the engineering document raised on the aircraft or component.

Revision #

The revision number of the engineering document.

Subject

The textual description of the engineering document.

Eng.Doc Category

The category to which the engineering document belongs.

Status

The status of the engineering document, which could be one of the following:

 
  • Fresh – When the engineering document is created

 
  • Cancelled – When the engineering document is cancelled

 
  • Revised – When the engineering document is revised

 
  • Released – When the engineering document is released for execution

 
  • Closed – When the engineering document is closed

Release Date

The date on which the engineering document is released.

Created Date

The date on which the engineering document is created.

Source Doc Type

The type of modification document or the source document for the engineering document.

MCR #

The number identifying the Maintenance Change Request (MCR) from which the details have been copied.

Revision #

The revision number of the MCR.

Compliance Status

The compliance status of the engineering document.

Execution Order #

The number identifying the execution work order.

Execution Mode

The mode of execution, which can be “Hangar Work Order” or “Component Work Order”.

Execution Location

The work center where the work order was executed.

Compiled Date

View Mod Status - A summary of the activity

This page allows you to view the details of the engineering documents raised against the aircraft or component selected in the previous page. The details such as the aircraft registration number, variable tab number, part number and component ID are displayed by the system. The engineering document details such as the engineering document number, revision number, description, Eng Doc category, status, the date on which the engineering document was created and the date on which the engineering document was released are displayed in the multiline.
