Selecting aircraft or component for viewing mod status
This page allows you to select an aircraft or component for viewing the mod status. Tell me more.
Select the “View Mod Status” link under the “Engineering Document” business component.
The “Select Aircraft / Component” page appears.
Enter the following fields in the “Search Criteria” group box, to search for the aircraft / component. Data entry in the following fields is optional:
Aircraft Reg # |
The registration number of the aircraft for which you wish to view the current status of modification (Alphanumeric, 30). You can enter the aircraft registration number in full or specify it partially using the “*” character. The system retrieves all aircraft registration numbers that are similar to the number entered here. |
Variable Tab # |
The tab number of the aircraft for which the mod status must be viewed (Alphanumeric, 15). You can enter the variable tab number in full or specify it partially using the “*” character. The system retrieves all variable tab numbers that are similar to the number entered here. |
Manufacturer Serial # |
The serial number of the aircraft manufacturer (Alphanumeric, 40). You can enter the manufacturer serial number in full or specify it partially using the “*” character. The system retrieves all manufacturer serial numbers that are similar to the number entered here. |
Nose # |
The nose number of the aircraft (Alphanumeric, 30). You can enter the nose number in full or specify it partially using the “*” character. The system retrieves all nose numbers that are similar to the number entered here. |
Part # |
The part number to which the component belongs (Alphanumeric, 40). You can enter the part number in full or specify it partially using the “*” character. The system retrieves all part numbers that are similar to the number entered here. |
Part Serial # |
The serial number of the component for which the mod status must be viewed (Alphanumeric, 40). You can enter the part serial number in full or specify it partially using the “*” character. The system retrieves all part serial numbers that are similar to the number entered here. |
Component # |
The number identifying the component for which the mod status must be viewed (Alphanumeric, 90). You can enter the component ID in full or specify it partially using the “*” character. The system retrieves all component IDs that are similar to the value entered here. |
Display Option |
Use the drop-down list box to select the option for which the mod status details have to be displayed. The system displays the following options: “Aircraft” - On selecting this option, the system will display aircraft details from the “Aircraft” business component.“ Component” – On selecting this option, the system will display component details from the “Aircraft” business component. This field is set to “Aircraft” by default. |
Aircraft Model # |
The number identifying the aircraft model (Alphanumeric, 20). You can enter the number in full or specify it partially using the “*” character. The system retrieves all the aircraft registration numbers for the model specified here. |
Click the “Search” pushbutton, to retrieve the search results.
The system displays the following fields in the “Search Results” multiline based on the filter criteria specified:
Aircraft Reg # |
The registration number of the aircraft. This field appears blank, if you have searched for the component. |
Variable Tab # |
The variable tab number of the aircraft. This field appears blank, if you have searched for the component. |
Manufacturer Serial # |
The manufacturer serial number of the aircraft. This field appears blank, if you have searched for the component. |
Nose # |
The nose number of the aircraft. This field appears blank, if you have searched for the component. |
Part # |
The part number to which the component belongs. |
Part Serial # |
The serial number of the component. |
Component # |
The number identifying the component. |
Check the box in the “Select” column of the multiline, to select the aircraft or component for viewing the mod status details.
Select the “View Engineering Document” link at the bottom of the page, to view the engineering document raised on the selected aircraft or component.
Select the “View Maintenance Change Request” link at the bottom of the page, to view the maintenance change requests raised on the selected aircraft or component.
Selecting aircraft or component for viewing mod status – An overview
This page allows you to select an aircraft or component for viewing the mod status. You can search for the aircraft by specifying aircraft registration number, variable tab number, manufacturer serial number and tail number. You can search for the component by entering the part number, serial number of the component and the component ID of the component.
Based on the search criteria, the system retrieves aircraft and components in the multiline.
