Viewing resource requirement details for engineering document tasks
This page allow you to view the details of the resources required for executing the standard procedure. Tell me more.
Select the “View Resource Requirements” link at the bottom of the “View Task Information” page.
The “View Resource Requirements” page appears.
The system displays the following in the “Eng. Doc. Details” group box:
Eng. Doc # |
The engineering document for which the resource requirement details are displayed. |
Revision # |
The revision number of the engineering document. |
Subject |
The textual description of the engineering document. |
Part Identifier |
The MCR identifier of the part, which could be “Internal” or “Supplier”. The system displays the field only when the engineering document is created from the maintenance change request. |
Applicability
|
The applicability of the engineering document, which could be “Aircraft”, “Component” or “Engine”. |
Aircraft Model # |
The number identifying the aircraft model for which the engineering document is applicable. |
Std. Procedure # |
The number identifying the standard procedure. |
Std. Procedure Description |
The textual description of the standard procedure. |
Enter the following field:
Task # |
Use the drop-down list box to select the task for which the resource details must be viewed. The system lists all the tasks that are defined for the engineering document and revision number combination. |
The system displays the following field on clicking the “Get Details” pushbutton:

Enter the following:
Resource Type |
Use the drop-down list box to select the type of the resource for which the details must be viewed. The resource can be of type “Tools”, “Others”, “Skills”, or “Equipment”. |
Click the “Get Details” pushbutton to retrieve the details of resources for the selected task and resource type.
The system displays the following details in the “Resource Details” multiline:

The classification of the resource. The system displays one of the following: |

The resource required for performing the standard procedure or task. |
Resource Description |
The textual description of the resource. |
Tool Part # |
The part number of the tool required for executing the standard procedure or task. |
MCR Tool Part # |
The part number of the tool defined in the “Edit Tool Requirement Information” page of the “Create MCR” activity. This field is displayed only when the part is created from the maintenance change request. |
Time Unit |
The unit of measurement for the resource time, which could be “Minutes”, “Hours” or “Days”. |
Est. Time |
The number of hours, minutes or days for which the resource is required to complete the task. |
Est. Nos. |
The number of resources required for completing the task. |
Approval Reqd.? |
The system displays “Yes” or “No”, to indicate whether approval for using the resource is required or not. |
Sign-off? |
The system displays “Yes” or “No”, to indicate whether the user must sign after the task has been carried out by the resource. This field is displayed only for “Skill” type resources. |
Currency |
The currency in which the unit price and rate per hour of the resource is specified. |
Unit Price |
The unit price of the resource. |
Rate / Hr |
The rate per hour payable to the resource. |
Purchase Lead Time (Days) |
The time required for purchasing the resource. |
Supplier Details |
Any detail regarding the supplier of the resource. |
Viewing resource requirement details for engineering document tasks – An overview
You can view the details of the resources required for executing the standard procedure or task, in this page. The system lists all the tasks defined for the engineering document and revision number combination, from which you can select the task, for viewing the resource requirement details. Details such as resource code, resource type, tool part number, MCR tool part number, time unit, estimated duration, number of resources needed and whether approval and sign-off is required or not, are displayed in the multiline.
