In this page, you can view the levels in which the existing part number must be changed in the part configuration. Tell me more.

The “View Part Configuration Change Information” page appears.

The system displays the following field:

Eng. Doc #

The engineering document for which the part configuration details are displayed.

Revision #

The revision number of the engineering document.

Subject

The textual description of the engineering document.

Part #

Use the drop-down list box to select the part for which the configuration change details must be viewed. The system lists all the parts that are applicable for the engineering document and the revision number combination.

The system displays the following field on clicking the “Get Details” pushbutton:

Revision #

The revision number of the part configuration in “Active” status.

The system displays the following field in the “Configuration Change Details” multiline, based on the part number selected.

Level Code

The code identifying the level at which the position code and the existing part number occurs in the part configuration hierarchy.

Position Code

The position code to which the existing part is associated.

Existing Part #

The part fitted to the position code that must be replaced.

NHA

The number identifying the parent part, which is otherwise, called the next higher assembly.

New Part #

The part number that will replace the existing part.

ATA #

Viewing part configuration change details for engineering document – An overview

View EO - A summary of the activity

In this page, you can view the levels in which the existing part number must be changed in the part configuration. On selecting the part number for which the engineering document is applicable, the system displays all the levels in which the existing part number appears in the part configuration. The details such as the level number, position code, existing part number, serial number of the part, next higher assembly, new part that must be fitted instead of the existing part, and the ATA chapter in which the part must be replaced, are displayed in the multiline.
