Viewing material procurement details for engineering document
In this page, you can view the details of the part for which the purchase request must be generated during the release of the engineering document. Tell me more.
Select the “View Material Procurement Plan” link at the bottom of the “View Engineering Document” page.
The “View Material Plan Requirements” page appears.
The system displays the following in the “Eng. Doc. Details” group box:
Date Format |
The format in which the date fields are displayed in this page. This format is displayed from the "User Preferences" component based on the login user ID. In case the format is not defined, the system displays the date format from the “Enterprise Modeling” component by default. |

The engineering document for which the material requirement details are displayed. |
Revision # |
The revision number of the engineering document. |
Subject |
The textual description of the engineering document. |
The system displays the following fields in the “Part Details” multiline:
Part # |
The part number for which the purchase request must be generated. |
Part Type |
The type of the part as defined in the “Part Administration” business component. |
UOM |
The unit of measurement for the part. |
Qty. Required |
The number of parts for which the purchase request is generated. |
Receiving Maintenance Base |
The organization unit where the parts must be received. |
Receiving Date |
The date on which the part will be received in the organizational unit. |
Purchase Request # |
The number identifying the purchase request raised on the part. |
Viewing material requirement details for engineering document – An overview
In this page, you can view the details of the part for which the purchase request must be generated during the release of the engineering document. The part that is required for executing the engineering document might not be available in the organizational unit. In such cases, a purchase request can be automatically generated for the part when the engineering document is released.
Details such as the part number for which the purchase request is generated, unit of measurement, number of parts required, the maintenance base in which the part must be received, the receiving date and the purchase request number, are displayed in the multiline.
