Viewing model configuration change details for engineering document
In this page, you can view the levels in which the existing part number will be changed in the model configuration. Tell me more.
Select the “View Model Configuration Change Details” link at the bottom of the “View Configuration Change Information” page.
The “View Model Configuration Change Information” page appears.
The system displays the following field in the “Eng. Doc. Details” group box:
Eng. Doc # |
The engineering document for which the model configuration details are displayed. |
Revision # |
The revision number of the engineering document. |
Subject |
The textual description of the engineering document. |
Enter the following field:
Aircraft Model |
Use the drop-down list box to select the aircraft model for which the configuration details must be viewed. The system lists all the models that are applicable for the engineering document and the revision number combination. |
Configuration Class |
Use the drop-down list box to select the configuration class for which the configuration details must be viewed. The system lists all the configuration classes that are defined for the model selected in the “Aircraft Model” field, on clicking the “Get” pushbutton. |
Click the “Get Details” pushbutton to retrieve the configuration details that are already defined for the engineering document, revision number, model number and the configuration class combination.
The system displays the following field on clicking the “Get Details” pushbutton:
Revision # |
The revision number of the model configuration in “Active” status. |
The system displays the following fields in the “Configuration Change Details” multiline, based on the aircraft model and the configuration class selected:
Level Code |
The code identifying the level at which the position code and the existing part number occurs in the model configuration hierarchy. |
Position Code |
The position code to which the existing part is associated. |
Existing Part # |
The part fitted to the position code that must be replaced. |
NHA |
The number identifying the parent part, which is otherwise, called the next higher assembly. |
New Part # |
The part number that will replace the existing part. |
ATA # |
The ATA chapter on which the part replacement must be done. |
Viewing model configuration change details for engineering document - An overview
In this page, you can view the levels in which the existing part number will be changed in the model configuration. On selecting the aircraft model and configuration class, the system displays all the levels in which the existing part number appears in the model configuration. Details such as the level number, position code, existing part number, next higher assembly, new part that must be fitted in place of the existing part, and the system in which the part must be replaced, are displayed in the multiline.
