In this page, you can view the levels in which the existing part number will be changed in the aircraft configuration. Tell me more.

The “View Aircraft Configuration Change Information” page appears.

The system displays the following field in the “Eng. Doc. Details” group box:

Eng. Doc #

The engineering document for which the aircraft configuration details are displayed.

Revision #

The revision number of the engineering document.

Subject

The textual description of the engineering document.

Manufacturer #

Use the drop-down list box to select the manufacturer of the aircraft. The system lists all the aircraft manufacturer codes associated to the aircraft models which are defined as effective, with ‘Applicable?’ set as “Yes” in the “Effectivity” tab of the “Manage Engineering Document” activity.

Variable Tab #

Use the drop-down list box to select the tab number of the aircraft for which the configuration details must be displayed. The system lists all the aircraft tab numbers that are applicable for the engineering document and the revision number combination.

The system displays the following field on clicking the “Get Details” pushbutton:

Revision #

The revision number of the aircraft configuration in “Active” status.

The system displays the following fields in the “Configuration Change Details” multiline, based on the tab number selected:

Level Code

The code identifying the level at which the position code and the existing part number occurs in the aircraft configuration hierarchy.

Position Code

The position code to which the existing part is associated.

Existing Part #

The part fitted to the position code that must be replaced.

Existing Part Serial #

The serial number of the part.

NHA Part #

The number identifying the parent part, which is otherwise, called the next higher assembly.

New Part #

The part number that will replace the existing part.

Part Type

The part type of the existing part, which could be “Component” or “Expendables”.

Position Description

The textual description of the position in which the new part is to be attached.

Qty.

The quantity of the part in the piece part configuration.

Position Status

The status of the position, which could be “Active” or “Inactive”.

ATA #

The ATA chapter on which the part replacement must be done.

View EO - A summary of the activity

In this page, you can view the levels in which the existing part number will be changed in the aircraft configuration. On selecting the aircraft tab number for which the engineering change is applicable, the system displays all the levels in which the existing part number appears in the aircraft configuration. Details such as the level number, position code, existing part number, serial number of the part, next higher assembly, new part that must be fitted in place of the existing part, and the ATA chapter in which the part must be replaced, are displayed.
