This activity allows you to set default options for the various fields in the activities of the “Engineering Document” business component.

The “Option Settings Information” page appears.

Date Format

The format in which the date field is displayed in this page. This format is displayed from the "User Preferences" business component based on the login user ID. In case the format is not defined, the system displays the date format from the "Enterprise Modeling" business component by default.

Assignments Mandatory

Use the drop-down list box to indicate whether maintenance change requests must be explicitly assigned to employees for the task of evaluating change requests and creating engineering documents based on them The system displays the options “Yes” and “No”. Select,

  • "Yes”, to make the assigning of change requests to employees mandatory using the “Assign Employees” activity.

  • “No”, to make the assigning of change requests to specific employees non-mandatory.

The system defaults this field to “No”.

Child Eng Doc  creation condition

Use the drop-down list box to indicate the condition under which the child engineering document can be created. Select,

  • Parent Released – to indicate a child engineering document can be created only after the parent engineering document is released. This option allows users to create an engineering document using the Create Child Engineering document activity, only when the status of the parent engineering document is “Released”.

  • Parent Closed –to indicate that the child engineering document can be created only after the parent engineering document is closed. This option allows users to create an engineering document using the Create Child Engineering document activity, only when the Status of the parent engineering document is “Closed”.

  • Parent Released or Closed –to indicate that the child engineering document can be created only after the parent engineering document is released or closed. This option allows users to create an engineering document using the Create Child Engineering document activity, only when the Status of the parent engineering document is “Released” or “Closed”.

  • None - to indicate that child engineering document can be created even when the Status of the parent engineering document is not released or closed.. This option allows users to create an engineering document using the Create Child Engineering Document activity regardless of the Status of the parent engineering document.

The system defaults this field to “None”.

Process Purchase Request in

Use the drop-down list box to indicate the organization in which the purchase request must be processed. The system provides the following options:

 
  • Execution Base Purchase Organization – Select this option to indicate that the purchase request must be processed in the execution base purchase organization.

 

  • Planning Base Purchase Organization – Select this option to indicate that the purchase request must be processed in the planning base purchase organization.

Allow MCR Modification Post – Confirmation?

Use the drop-down list box to select either “Yes” or “No” option. The system displays the value “No” by default.

Consider Schedule Dispositions for Task Inheritance rules from

Use the drop-down list box to indicate the source from which the schedule disposition must be taken into consideration for induction of tasks into execution documents. The drop-down list box displays "From Eng. Order” and "From Impact Assessment".

Default Schedule Disposition Code for Task Inheritance Rules evaluation

Use the drop-down list box to select the default schedule disposition code. The drop-down list box displays the schedule disposition codes defined under the entity type “Schedule Disposition Code" and “All User Defined Entities” in the Define Process Entities activity of Common Master.

Initiate Auto Task inheritance based on Schedule disposition on

Use the drop-down list box to specify the basis for automatic task inheritance. The drop-down list box displays the following: On EO Release and Post MOD program Initiation.

Track component issue for MOD Compliance based on

Use the drop-down list box to indicate whether all issued components or specific issued components must be tracked for MOD compliance. The drop-down list box displays: Any Component issued and Component issued with Specific MOD.

The system displays the following fields in the “Record Statistics” group box:

Last Modified By

The login ID of the user who last modified the options.

Last Modified Date

The date on which the options were last modified.
