This page allow you to enter a unique identifier for the quick code and provide a description for it. Tell me more.

Quick Code Type

Use the drop-down list box to select the type for which the quick code must be created. The system provides the following options:

 

  • Eng. Doc Category - Select this option to define the quick codes for the categorization of engineering document.

 

  • Eng. Doc - User Status - Select this option to define the quick codes for the user status of engineering document.

 

  • Recommendation Category - Select this option to define the quick code for the category of the recommendation given by the MCM while evaluating change request.

 

  • Evaluation - User Defined Category - Select this option to define the quick code for the user defined category of the change request evaluation done by the MCM.

 

  • Reason for Non- Execution – Select this option to define the quick codes referring to the reason for not executing the engineering document.

 

  • “Impact Category” - Select this option to define the quick codes for the impact of engineering change.

 

  • “Sch. Disposition” - Select this option to define the quick codes for disposition of impacted maintenance objects.

 

  • MOD Compl. UD-4 – Select this option to define quick codes for the user defined MOD compliance value

 

  • MOD Compl. UD 5 – Select this option to define quick codes for the user defined MOD compliance value

The system sets the field to “Eng. Doc - Category” by default.

Quick Code

A unique identifier for the quick code (Alphanumeric, 25). Mandatory. This can be a combination of characters and digits and should not be left blank. Ensure that the quick code is unique for the organizational unit.

Description

The textual description for the quick code (Alphanumeric, 80). Mandatory. This field should not be left blank.

Note: The system creates quick codes, sets the status of the created quick codes as “Active” and the created date as the current server date.
