Assign Employees – A summary of the activity

In this activity, you can select the change request to assign employees for evaluating and authoring the change request. The change request document can be a Maintenance Change Request (MCR). The employee assignment to the change request depends on the option set in the "Set Options" activity. If you have set the "Assignments Mandatory" option as "Yes" in the "Set Options" activity, you must assign employees to the change request.

Maintenance Change Request (MCR) - Engineering changes on aircraft or its sub-systems are triggered from internal or external sources. The change information is communicated through a modification document (like SBs. Ads etc.,). The details of the modification document is recorded as MCR. Each MCR has a unique number assigned to it in the “Create Maintenance Change Request” activity of the “Maintenance Change Request” business component. Employees can be assigned to maintenance change requests that are in the “Confirmed” status, for further evaluation and authoring of engineering document.
