This page allows you to view information about the maintenance report selected in the previous page. You can view the details such as the resolution procedure, transfer details and details of discrepancies included in the report.

The “View Maintenance Report Information” page appears.

The system displays the following fields:

Date & Time Format

The format in which the date fields appears in this page. This format is displayed from the "User Preferences" business component based on the login user ID. In case the format is not defined, the system displays the date format from the “Enterprise Modeling” business component by default.

The system displays the following fields in the “Maint. Report Details” group box:

Maint. Report #

The number of the maintenance report that has been raised for the aircraft.

Applicability

Indicates whether the maintenance report is applicable for “Aircraft”, “Engine” or “Component”.

Maint. Report Class

The class to which the maintenance report belongs.

Maint. Report Description

The textual description of the maintenance report.

Record Status

The status of the discrepancy or maintenance report, which can be “Fresh” or “Pending”.

Processing Status

The processing status of the discrepancy, which can be “None”, “Under Analysis” and  “Analyzed”.

Tracking Status

The user-defined tracking status defined for the discrepancy.

The system displays the following fields in the “Maint. Object Details” group box:

Aircraft Reg #

The registration number of the aircraft against which the maintenance report has been raised.

Aircraft Model #

The model number of the aircraft against which the maintenance report has been raised.

Component #

The component number against which the discrepancy has been reported.

 Serial #

The serial number of the part for which a discrepancy has been reported.

Part #

The part number for which a discrepancy has been reported.

Part Description

The textual description of the part.

The system displays the following fields in the “Fault Identification Details” group box:

ATA #

The ATA chapter on which discrepancy has been reported.

Chapter Description

The textual description of the ATA chapter.

Fault #

The fault code defined in the “Fault Isolation Manual” business component that is applicable to the discrepancy being reported.

Fault Description

The textual description of the fault.

Cause #

The number identifying the cause, which has been associated to the maintenance report.

Cause Description

The textual description of the cause code.

The system displays the following fields in the “Resolution Details” group box:

Remedial Action

The remedial action taken to resolve the discrepancy.

Remarks

Any additional remarks about the remedial action taken.

Resolution Doc. Type

The document type that has been used to identify a resolution procedure.

Resolution Doc. #

The number of the document that has been used to identify a resolution procedure.

Resolved OU

The organization unit where the discrepancy was resolved.

Resolved Station

The station where the discrepancy was resolved.

Work Unit Count

The number of work units employed to resolve the discrepancy.

The system displays the following fields in the “Transfer Details” group box:

Component #

The component to which the maintenance report has been transferred.

Part #

The part number to which the maintenance report has been transferred.

Part Serial #

The serial number of the part to which the maintenance report has been transferred.

Part Description

The textual description of the part.

Transfer Doc. Type

The type of the document that has been transferred.

Transfer Doc. #

The number of the document that has been transferred.

Transferred By

The employee code of the user who has transferred the document.

Transferring Employee

The name of the employee who has transferred the document.

Transfer Date

The date on which the document has been transferred.

The system displays the following fields in the “Discrepancy Details” multiline:

Discrepancy #

The code assigned to the discrepancy.

Discrepancy

The textual description of the discrepancy.

Discrepancy Type

The type of discrepancy, which can be “PIREP” or “MIREP”.

Discrepancy Category

The user-defined category that has been defined for the discrepancy.

Tracking Status

The user-defined tracking status defined for the discrepancy.

ATA #

The ATA chapter on which discrepancy has been reported.

Fault #

The fault code defined in the “Fault Isolation Manual” business component that is applicable to the discrepancy being reported.

Source Document Type

The type of the source document in which the discrepancy was reported, which can be “Visit package”, “Hangar Work Order”, “Journey Log”, “Technical Log” or “Component Work Order”.

Source Document #

The number of the source document in which the discrepancy was reported.

File Name

The name of the reference document corresponding to the discrepancy.

 Click the hyperlinked discrepancy number to view the discrepancy information.

 Click the hyperlinked file name to view the object attachments.  

The system displays the following fields in the “Engineering Reference Details” group box:

Engg Service Req#

The number identifying the engineering service request that refers to the maintenance report.

Problem Description

The textual description of the problem reported in the engineering service request.

Pre-Closing comments

Pre-closing comments entered in the engineering service request.

Engg Advice Note #

The number identifying the engineering advice note, which is a response to the problem reported in the engineering service request (Alphanumeric, 40).

Revision #

The number identifying the revision made to the engineering advice note.

Recommendation

Any suggestions or recommendations to resolve the problem.
