This activity allows you to define the path for the destination folder to which files must be uploaded.  Tell me more.

The “Set Options” page appears.

The system displays the following field:

Date Format

The format in which the date fields are displayed in this page. This format is displayed from the "User Preferences" business component based on the login user ID. In case the format is not defined, the system displays the date format from the “Enterprise Modeling” business component by default.

File Server Share

The name of the Hypertext Transfer Protocol (HTTP) server (Alphanumeric, 255). Mandatory.

Upload User Name

The user name to access the HTTP server for uploading files (Alphanumeric, 15). Mandatory.

Password

The password to access the HTTP server for uploading files (Alphanumeric, 15). Mandatory.

Read User Name

The user name to access the HTTP server for viewing files (Alphanumeric, 15). Mandatory.

Password

The password to access the HTTP server for viewing files (Alphanumeric, 15). Mandatory.

The “OFMS FTP Server Details” group box appears below the “HTTP Server details” group box, only for “Offline Field Management System" (OFMS) Applications,

OFMS FTP Server Name

The name of the OFMS File Transfer Protocol (FTP) server (Alphanumeric, 255). Mandatory.

Upload User Name

The user name to access the OFMS FTP server for uploading files (Alphanumeric, 15). Mandatory.

Password

The password to access the OFMS FTP server for uploading files (Alphanumeric, 15). Mandatory.

Read User Name

The user name to access the OFMS FTP server for viewing files (Alphanumeric, 15). Mandatory.

Password

The password to access the OFMS FTP server for viewing files (Alphanumeric, 15). Mandatory.

Default Destination Path

The default path for a unique combination of organizational unit and business component where the document or reference information must be uploaded (Alphanumeric, 50). Mandatory. The system uploads the document or reference information in this path, if the “Destination Path” field in the multiline is left blank, for a particular combination of organization unit and business component, in the multiline.

Default Max.Upload File Size (KB)

The maximum  upload size, in kilobytes, to be considered by default  for the file in kilobytes  (Alphanumeric, 20). The maximum allowable size is 50,000 KB.

Default Action if File Exists

Use the drop-down list box to set the default action to be performed, if a file already exists in the destination path. The system displays the following options:

  • Replace – The uploaded file replaces the duplicate file in the destination folder.

  • Save as New – The uploaded file is saved in a new name in the destination path.

  • Warn & Abort – The uploaded file is ignored and a warning message is displayed.

  • User Selectable – If this option is selected, then the system offers all the above-mentioned options in the “Upload Documents” screen.

The system displays “User Selectable” by default.

In the “Destination Path Details” multiline, the system displays all the organizational units and business components for which “Object Attachments” is enabled.

Org. Unit Name

The name of the organization unit for which the document must be updated.

Business Component Name

The name of the business component for which “Object Attachments” is enabled.

Folder Name

The name of the folder where the document or reference information must be stored. If this field is left blank, the system assigns the value entered in the “Default Destination Path” field as the destination path for storing the document or reference information (Alphanumeric, 50).

The system displays the following field:

Org. Unit #

The number that identifies the organization unit.

Max.Upload File Size (KB)

The maximum upload size of the file in kilobytes (Alphanumeric, 20).

Action if File Exists

Use the drop-down list box to set the action to be performed, if a file already exists in the destination path. The system lists the following options:

  • Replace – The uploaded file replaces the duplicate file in the destination folder.

  • Warn & Abort – The uploaded file is ignored and a warning message is displayed.

The system displays blank by default.

Note: The value selected in the “Default Action if File Exists” gets defaulted in the “Action if File Exists” field, if no value is selected in the “Action if File Exists” field.

For the selected record the system performs the following on clicking the “Set Options” pushbutton:

If any one of the  “Destination Path”, “Action if File Exists” and “Max.Upload File Size (KB)” fields are left blank in the multiline, the system updates the same with the "Default Destination Path", "Default Action if File Exists" and “Default Max. Upload File” specified in the “File Upload Options” group box, respectively.

The system updates the destination path for storing the attached objects. The system stores the name of the login user and the current server date as the last modified date.

The system displays the following fields in the “Record Statistics” group box:

Last Modified by

The name of the user who last modified the option settings.

Last Modified Date

The date on which the option settings were last modified.
