Set Options – A summary of the activity

This activity allows you to set default options for the various fields in the activities of the “Component Work Reporting” business component. You can also modify the options that are already defined. You can set the following options in this activity:

• Specify whether extra hours can be reported without authorization from the concerned authority.

• Specify whether to validate the presence of an employee based on the ARS.

• Specify the basis for computing the overtime, that is, based on the standard rate or shift pattern.

The system updates the details and sets the “Last Modified By” and “Last Modified Date” to the name of the currently logged in user and current server date respectively.
