This page allows you to select a work scope for creating the scheduled component work order. Tell me more.

The “Manage Work Scope” page appears.

The system displays the following field:

Date Format

The format in which the date field is displayed. This format is displayed from the "User Preferences" business component based on the login user ID. In case the format is not defined, the system displays the date format from the "Enterprise Modeling" business component by default.

Work Scope #

The number identifying the work scope for which the component work order must be created (Alphanumeric, 18) You can enter the work scope number in full, or specify it partially using the “*” character. The system retrieves all the work scope numbers that are similar to the number entered here.

Primary Work Center #

Use the drop-down list box to specify the number of the primary work center responsible for work scope execution. The system lists all the active work centers associated with the login organizational unit, for which the login user has access rights. The system retrieves all the work scopes that require execution in the primary work center entered here. Leave this field blank to retrieve all the work scopes, irrespective of the primary work center. The system leaves this field blank by default.

Part #

The part number to which the component belongs (Alphanumeric, 40) You can enter the part number in full, or specify it partially using the “*” character. The system retrieves all the work scope numbers with the part number entered here.

Serial #

The serial number for which the work scope is created (Alphanumeric, 40). You can enter the serial number in full, or specify it partially using the “*” character. The system retrieves all the work scope numbers with the serial number entered here.

Component #

The component number for which the work scope is created (Alphanumeric, 40). You can enter the component number in full, or specify it partially using the “*” character. The system retrieves all the work scope numbers with the component number entered here.

Work Scope Category

Use the drop-down list box to specify the user-defined category to which the work scope belongs. The system lists all the 'active' work scope categories created in the "Create Quick Codes" activity. The system retrieves all the work scope numbers of the category specified here.

Required Date: From

The starting date in the range of dates during which the work scope is to be executed (Date Format). The system lists the work scopes that were created on or after the date entered here.

Required Date: To

The ending date in the range of dates during which the work scope is to be executed (Date Format). The system lists the work scopes that were created on or before the date entered here.

Planner Group

Use the drop-down list box to select the planner group with which the component is associated. The system lists all the planner groups defined in the "Create Planner Group" activity of the "Component Maintenance Planning" business component.

Maintenance Type

Use the drop-down list box to specify the type of maintenance to be carried out on the component. The system lists all the maintenance types identified in the “Common Masters” business component. Apart from this, the system displays an option “Retire”. The system sets this field to "Repair" by default.

Note: Leave the fields blank to retrieve the work scopes in “Fresh” or “Released” status.

Note: The system retrieves details of those work scopes that are in “Released” and “Partially released” status. Work units against each work scope in the “Pending processing” status and with job status as “Allocated” are retrieved.

The system displays the following fields in the “Search Results” multiline based on the filter criteria entered:

Work Scope #

The number identifying the work scope that is defined in the system

Title

The title of the work scope

Status

The status of the work scope which could be "Released" or "Partially Released"

Work Unit Type

The type of the work unit associated to the work scope

Work Unit #

The number of the work unit associated to the work scope

Part #

The part number to which the component belongs

Serial #

The serial number of the component for which the work scope is created

Required Date

The date on which the work scope is required to be executed.

Priority

The priority assigned to the work scope

Work Scope Category

The category to which the work scope belongs

Primary Work Center #

The primary work center in which the work scope will be executed

Component #

The component for which the work scope is created.

Planner Group

The planner group to which the component is associated
