This page enables you to select the forecast for re-forecasting. Tell me more.

The “Select Forecast” page appears.

The system displays the following field:

Date Format

The format in which the date field is displayed. This format is displayed from the "User Preferences" business component based on the login user ID. If the format is not defined, the system will display the date format from the "Enterprise Modeling" business component by default.

Forecast #

The number identifying the forecast that must be re-forecasted or revised (Alphanumeric, 18)

Forecast #

The number identifying the forecast that must be released (Alphanumeric, 18). You can enter the forecast number in full,or specify it partially using the “*” character. The system retrieves all the forecast numbers that are similar to the number entered here.

User Status

Use the drop-down list box to specify the user status of the forecast. The system lists all the user statuses defined for the forecast in the "Create Quick Codes" activity. The system retrieves the forecast numbers of the user status specified here. The system leaves this field blank by default.

Component #

The number identifying the component that has to be re-forecasted (Alphanumeric, 90). You can enter the number in full, or specify it partially using the “*” character. The system retrieves forecast details of all the component numbers that are similar to the number entered here.

Status

Use the drop-down list ox to specify the status of the forecast. The system lists the options: “Fresh” and “Released”. By default, the system leaves this field blank.

End Date - From

The starting date in the range of dates during which the forecast will end (Date Format).

Ensure that the date entered is earlier than or equal to the system date.

End Date - To

The ending date in the range of dates during which the forecast will end (Date Format)

Ensure that the date entered is earlier than or equal to the system date.

Planner Group #

Use the drop-down list box to specify the  number of the planner group which created the forecast . The system lists all the active planner groups associated with the login user.. The system leaves this field blank by default.

Forecast Category #

Use the drop-down list box to specify the user-defined category to which the forecast belongs. The system lists all the 'active' forecast categories created in the "Create Quick Codes" activity. The system leaves this field blank by default.

The system displays the following fields in the "Search Results" multiline:

Forecast #

The number identifying the forecast defined in the system

Re Forecast Count

The number of times the maintenance arising on the component is re-forecasted

Start Date

The starting date of the forecast

End Date

The ending date of the forecast

Last Modified Date

The date on which the forecast was last modified

User Status

The user defined status of the forecast

Planner Group

The planner group who generated the forecast

Description

Selecting forecast for re-forecasting the details - An overview

This page enables you to select the forecast for re-forecasting. If you know the forecast number, you can enter it directly. Otherwise, you can carry out a search based on the forecast number, the user status, the ending dates of the forecast, the planner group and the forecast category. The system retrieves the search results in the multiline.

Status of the forecast

If the “Release Forecast” option is set as “Mandatory” in the “Set Options” activity, the system retrieves “Released” forecasts in the multiline. If the “Release Forecast” is set as “Non-Mandatory” the “Fresh” forecasts are also retrieved in the multiline.
