Assign pending jobs to existing repair order
The pending work units can be assigned to a repair order in this page. You can select the work units and assign them to the repair order. The repair order will be sent to an external agency or repair shop for carrying out the maintenance work on the component.
Select the “Add to Existing Repair Order” link in the “Process Pending Component Jobs” page.
The “Assign Components to Existing Repair Order” page appears.
The system displays the following field:
Date Format |
The format in which the date field is displayed. This format is displayed from the "User Preferences" business component based on the login user ID. If the format is not defined, the system will display the date format from the "Enterprise Modeling" business component by default. |
The system displays the following fields in the “Component Details” group box:
Part # |
The part number where the maintenance work must be performed |
Serial # |
The serial number of the component where the maintenance work must be performed |
Component # |
The number identifying the component where the maintenance work must be performed |
Part Description |
The textual description of the part. |
The system displays the following details in the “Pending Component Job Arisings” multiline:
Maintenance Type |
The type of the maintenance work, such as overhaul, repair and inspection, to be performed on an aircraft. |
Work Unit Type |
The type of the work unit, which could be “Task”, “Standard. Procedure” or “Work Package” |
Work Unit # |
The number identifying the work unit retrieved by the system |
Job Source |
The source of the job The system displays one of the following options:

Execution Facility |
The location where the work unit has to be performed. The system displays one of the following options

Source Document Type |
The type of the source document |
Source Document # |
The number identifying the source document against which the work unit is created |
Opport. Maint.? |
Indicates whether the work unit pertains to the opportunity maintenance performed on the component or not |
Scheduled Date |
The date on which the maintenance activity is scheduled to be performed on the aircraft |
Work Center # |
The number identifying the work center in which the work unit will be performed |
Est. Elapsed Time |
The time estimated for work unit completion |
Time Unit |
The unit of measurement for the time that is being specified, which could be “Minutes”, ”Hours” or “Days”. |
Est. Man Hrs |
The total man-hours estimated for the work unit completion. |

The textual description of the work center. |

The textual description of the work unit |
Check the box in the select column of the multiline to select the work units for processing.
Enter the following fields in the “Repair Order Details” group box:
Repair Order # |
The number identifying the repair order to which you wish to assign the work units for execution (Alphanumeric, 25) |
Repair Order Location |
Use the drop-down list box to select the repair order location. The system lists all the organizationunits where the repair orders can be generated. |

The status of the repair order |
RO Type |
The type of repair order, which could be “Normal” or “Exchange”.

Repair Shop # |
The number identifying the repair shop |
Under Warranty |
Indicates whether the component is under warranty or not. The system displays “Yes” or “No”. |
Priority |
The priority given to the repair shop |
Click the “Assign Components” pushbutton to assign jobs to the repair order.
