The “View Work Package” page appears.

The system displays the following in the “Work Package Details” group box:

Work Package #

The selected work package for which the details are to be viewed.

Work Package Description

The textual description of the work package.

Primary Work Center #

The primary work center where the work package has to be performed.

Work Center Desc

The textual description of the work center.

Ref. Doc. Type

The type of the reference document associated with the work package.

Ref Doc #

The number identifying the reference document.

Work Package Type

The type of the work package.

Remarks

Any additional remark pertaining to the creation or modification of the work package.

The system displays the following in the “Execution Details” group box:

Link Flag

Indicates whether or not part, resource or schedule details are entered for the part maintenance program. The system displays one of the following:

 
  • P –If part details are available

 
  • R – If resource details are available

 
  • S – If schedule details have been entered

 
  • P/R – If part and resource details are available

 
  • P/S - If part and schedule details are entered

 
  • R/S –If resource and schedule details are entered

 
  • P/R/S – If part, resource and schedule details are entered

Estimated Duration

The total time estimated for completing the work package. The estimated duration also includes the time required for performing the pre-execution and the post-execution tasks such as getting the tools ready and cleaning up work.

Turn Around Time

The time required to carry out the work package.

Wrench Time

The total time estimated for the actual execution of the work package.

Ideal Time

The ideal time recommended for the completion of the work package. The ideal time of the work package is estimated based on the ideal time recommended by the OEMs for each work unit in the work package.

Note: The system displays the time unit as “Minutes”, “Hours” or “Days”, for the Estimated Duration, Turn Around Time, Wrench Time and Ideal Time.

The system displays the following in the “Work Scope Details” multiline:

Work Unit Type

The type of the work unit, which could be “Task” or “Standard Procedure”.

Work Unit #

The number identifying the task or standard procedure to be included in the work package.

Work Center #

The number identifying the work center where the work unit has to be performed.

Mandatory ?

Indicates whether the work unit has to be definitely performed or not, which could be one of the following:

 
  • Yes” – Indicates that, for schedule update purposes, the work package is assumed to be performed, if all the mandatory work units under it are performed.

  • “No” – Indicates that the check package can be closed even if the work unit is not performed.

Starting Day

The day from which the execution of the work unit must be started.

Expense Type

The expense type of the work unit that could be “Revenue” or “Capital”.

Work Unit Description

The textual description of the work unit.

Work Center Description

The textual description of the work center

View work package information - A summary of the activity

This page allows you to view the details of the selected work package. General details pertaining to the work package such as work package number, description, work package type and remarks are displayed by the system. You can also view the execution details and the details of the work unit that are associated with the work package.
