Viewing date-based schedule details for position code
This page allow you to defined in terms of calendar days. The schedule for the next performance of the maintenance activity will be specified in terms of a calendar date. In this page you can view the date-based schedules defined for the position code selected in the previous page.
Select the “View Date Based Schedules” link at the bottom of the “Select Position – Part #” page.
The “View Date Based Schedule Information” page appears.
The system displays the following in the “Position Details” group box:
Aircraft Model # |
The aircraft model with which the position code is associated. |
Configuration Class |
The configuration class associated with the aircraft model. |
Level # |
The level number of the position code and its associated part number. |
Position Code |
The position code for which the date-based schedule details are to be viewed. |
Part # |
The number identifying the part associated with the position code. |
Enter the following in the “Maintenance Activity Details” group box:
Work Unit # |
Use the drop-down list box to select the work unit for which the date-based schedule must be viewed. The system lists all the work units that have been defined for the part program and prefixes them with “TSK”, “SP” or “WP” based on the type of the work unit. |
Note: The system will not display those work units for which the “Shelf life expiry” flag has been set to “Yes”.
Click the “Get Details” pushbutton to retrieve the date-based schedule details for the work unit selected here.
The system displays the following on clicking the “Get Details” pushbutton:
Work Unit Description |
The textual description of the task, standard procedure or work package. |
Maintenance Type |
The type of the maintenance activity to be carried out. |
Work Center # |
The number identifying the work center where the work unit is performed. |
Work Center Description |
The textual description of the work center. |
The system displays the following in the “Date Based Schedule Details” multiline:
Schedule Type |
The type of date-based schedule, which could be “Actual-Interval” or “Fixed-Date”. |
Time Unit |
The unit of measurement of time, which could be “Days”, “Weeks”, “Months” or “Years”. |
Threshold |
The number of days, weeks, months or hours after which the work unit has to be performed (Decimal). Data entry in this field is mandatory if the “Schedule Type” is set as “Fixed-Date”. Ensure that the number entered in this field is positive |
Interval |
The interval after which the work unit is to be repeated. |
Alert Value |
The value or date before the arising of the work unit when an alert needs to be given on the impending work unit (Decimal). Ensure that the number entered in this field is positive |
Positive Tolerance |
The upper limit within which the work unit is to be performed. |
Negative Tolerance |
The lower limit within which the work unit is to be performed. |
