This page allows you to select a part maintenance program to view its details. Tell me more.

The “Select Part #” page appears.

Part #

The part for which the maintenance program details are to be viewed (Alphanumeric, 40). Ensure that the part has already been defined in the “Create Parts Main Information” activity of the “Part Administration” business component and the part must be of the “Component” type. 

Part #

The part for which the maintenance program details are to be viewed (Alphanumeric, 40). You can enter the part number in full or specify it partially using the “*” character. The system retrieves all the part numbers that are similar to the value entered here.

Part Description

The textual description of the part for which the maintenance program details are to be viewed (Alphanumeric, 150). You can enter the description in full or specify it partially using the “*” character. The system retrieves all the parts whose description is similar to the description entered here.

ATA #

The ATA chapter to which the part belongs (Alphanumeric, 16). You can enter the ATA chapter number in full or specify it partially using the “*” character. The system retrieves all the parts whose ATA chapter numbers are similar to the value entered here.

Maintenance Process

Use the drop-down list box to select the maintenance process, which could be “Hard-Time”, “On-Condition” or “Condition Monitoring”. The system retrieves all the parts that are associated with the maintenance process selected here. The system leaves the field blank by default.

Revision #

The revision number of the part maintenance program. You can enter the revision number in full or specify it partially using the “*” character. The system retrieves all the part maintenance programs whose revision numbers are similar to the value entered here. If you leave this field blank, then the system retrieves all the revision numbers for the part maintenance programs.

Program Status

Use the drop-down list box to select the part maintenance program status, which could be “Fresh”, “Authorized” or “Revised”. The system retrieves the part programs that are in the status selected here. The system sets this field to "Authorized" by default.

User Status

Use the drop-down list box to specify the user-defined status of the part maintenance program. The system retrieves the part programs that are in the user-defined status specified here. The system leaves the field blank by default.

Note: If the option setting “Planner Group Security” is set as “Required” in the Set Options activity, then the system retrieves only those parts associated to the Planner group to which the login user has been mapped.

The system displays the following in the “Part Details” multiline based on the filter criteria specified:

Part #

The number identifying the part retrieved by the system.

Part Description

The textual description of the part.

ATA #

The ATA chapter to which the part belongs.

Program Status

The status of the part program, which could be “Fresh”, “Authorized” or “Revised”.

Revision #

The revision number of the part maintenance program.

Maintenance Process

The maintenance process of the part, which could be “Hard-Time”, “On-Condition” or “Condition Monitoring”.

User Status

The user-defined status assigned to the part

Viewing Part Program - A summary of the activity

This page allows you to select a part maintenance program to view its details. If you know the part number for which the maintenance program details are to be viewed, you can directly enter it. Otherwise, you can carry out a search based on the part number, part description, ATA chapter number, maintenance process, revision number, maintenance program status and the user-defined status. The system displays the details of the selected part such as the part number, part description, the ATA chapter to which the part belongs, part maintenance program status, revision number, maintenance process and user-defined status.
