Viewing date-based schedules for a work unit
This page allow you to defined in terms of calendar days. The schedule for the next performance of the maintenance activity will be specified in terms of a calendar date. In this page you can view the date-based schedule details defined for the work unit.
Select the “View Date Based Schedule” link at the bottom of the “View Part Program Information” page.
The “Date Based Schedule Information” page appears.
Note: These page will be invoked only if “Shelf Life Expiry” flag is set to “No” in the “Edit Work Unit Information In Programs” page.
The system displays the following fields in the “Part Details” group box:
Part # |
The part number for which the date-based schedule must be viewed. |
Part Description |
The textual description of the part. |
Maintenance Process |
The maintenance process of the part, which could be “Hard-Time”, “On-Condition” or “Condition Monitoring”. |
Program Status |
The status of the part maintenance program, which could be “Fresh” or “Authorized”. |
Revision # |
The revision number of the part maintenance program. |
Enter the following in the “Maintenance Activity Details” group box:
Work Unit # |
Use the drop-down list box to select the work unit for which the date- based schedule must be viewed. The system lists all the work units defined for the part maintenance program except those with Program Item Type - Perpetual and As Required; prefixes them with “TSK”, “SP” or “WP” based on the type of the work unit. |
Click the “Get Details” pushbutton to retrieve the date-based schedule details for the work unit specified here.
The system displays the following when you click the “Get Details” pushbutton:
Work Unit Description |
The description of the task. |
Maintenance Type |
The type of the maintenance activity to be carried out which could be “Overhaul”, “Repair”, “Inspection”, “Others” etc. |
Work Center # |
The number identifying the work center where the work unit has to be performed. |
Work Center Description |
The textual description of the work center. |
The system displays the following in the “Date Based Schedule Details” multiline:
Schedule Type |
The date-based schedule, which could be “Actual-Interval” or “Fixed-Date”. |
Time Unit |
The unit of measurement of time, which could be “Days”, “Weeks”, “Months” or “Years”. |
Threshold |
The number of days, weeks, months or hours after which the work unit has to be performed (Decimal). Data entry in this field is mandatory if the “Schedule Type” is set as “Fixed-Date”. Ensure that the number entered in this field is positive |
Interval |
The interval after which the work unit has to be repeated. |
Alert Value |
The value or date before the arising of the work unit when an alert needs to be given on the impending work unit (Decimal). Ensure that the number entered in this field is positive |
Positive Tolerance |
The upper limit within which the work unit has to be performed. |
Negative Tolerance |
The lower limit within which the work unit has to be performed. |
Terminating date |
The date after which maintenance activity need not be performed on a part. |
Terminating Value (Days) |
The value after which maintenance activity need not be performed on a part. |
Update Basis |
The basis of updating the work units of the part program, which could be “Last Performed Date” or “Installation Date”. |
