Viewing date-based schedules for a work unit in component maintenance program
This page allow you to defined in terms of calendar days. The schedule for the next performance of the maintenance activity will be specified in terms of a calendar date. In this page you can view the date-based schedule details defined for the work unit.
Select the “View Date Based Schedule” link at the bottom of the “View Component Maintenance Program Information” page.
Note: This page will be invoked only if “Shelf Life Expiry” flag is set to “No” in the “Edit Work Unit Information In Programs” page.
The “View Date Based Schedule Information” page appears.
The system displays the following:
Date Format |
The format in which the date and time fields appears in this page. This format is displayed from the "User Preferences" business component based on the login user ID. In case the format is not defined, the system displays the date and time format from the “Enterprise Modeling” business component by default. |
The system displays the following fields in the “Component Details” group box:
Part # |
The number identifying the part to which the component belongs. |
Part Description |
The textual description of part. |
Serial # |
The serial number of the component. |
Component # |
The number identifying the component maintenance program for which the date-based schedule details must be viewed. |
Maintenance Process |
The maintenance process associated with the part, which could be “Hard-Time”, “On-Condition” or “Condition Monitoring”. |
CMP Status |
The status of the component maintenance program, which could be “Fresh” or “Authorized”. |
Revision # |
The revision number of the component maintenance program. |
Enter the following in the “Maintenance Activity Details” group box:
Work Unit # |
Use the drop-down list box to select the work unit for which the date- based schedule must be viewed. The system lists all the work units defined for the component maintenance program except those with Program Item Type -Perpetual and As Required; prefixes them with “TSK”, “SP” or “WP” based on the type of the work unit. |
Click the “Get Details” pushbutton to retrieve the date-based schedule details for the work unit selected here.
The system displays the following when you click the “Get Details” pushbutton:
Work Unit Description |
The description of the task, standard procedure or work package. |
Maintenance Type |
The type of the maintenance activity to be carried out. |
Work Center # |
The number identifying the work center where the work unit is performed. |
Work Center Description |
The textual description of the work center. |
The system displays the following in the “Date Based Schedule Details” multiline:
Schedule Type |
The type of date-based schedule, which could be “Recurring” or “One-Time”. |
Last Performed Date |
The date and time at which the work unit was last carried out on the component. |
Next Scheduled Date |
The date and time at which the next work unit is due on the component. |
Time Unit |
The unit of measurement of time, which could be “Days”, “Weeks”, “Months” or “Years”. |
Threshold |
The starting value for performing the particular work unit. |
Interval |
The interval in which the work unit has to be repeated. |
Alert Value |
The value after which an alert needs to be given on the impending work unit . |
Positive Tolerance |
The upper limit within which the work unit has to be performed. |
Next Due Calc. On |
The computation basis of Next Schedule Date (NSD). The system displays various values depending on the basis on which NSD is computed. If the NSD computation basis is ‘Manufacturer Date’, values displayed are:
If the NSD computation basis is ‘Update Basis’, values displayed are:
If the NSD computation basis is ‘Schedule Reset Basis’, following values are displayed:
If the NSD computation is based on the Change Type selection, the system displays the following values:
If the compliance of parent task triggers Related Task Compliance, the following value is displayed:

Calc. Ref. Date |
The reference date based on which NSD is computed. |
Last Schedule Date |
The actual schedule date of task on last compliance. |
Change Type |
Indicates whether NSD can be modified on modification of interval. The system displays one of the following values:

Negative Tolerance |
The lower limit within which the work unit has to be performed. |
Terminating Date |
The date and time at or after which the maintenance requirement gets terminated i.e. the date after which maintenance activity need not be performed on the component. |
Terminating Value (Days) |
Terminating value of the maintenance requirement, i.e. the value after which maintenance activity need not be performed on the component. |
Update Basis |
The basis of updating the work units of the maintenance program, which could be “Last Performed Date” or “Installation Date”. |
