If the “Action” field is set to “Overwrite”, the system updates selected expense type of the work unit in the part program and the component program. And, if the “Action” field is set to “Append”, the system adds the expense type selected for the work unit along with the other details in the part program and the component maintenance program.
If the “Action” field is set to “Append” or “Overwrite”, the system calculates the ‘next scheduled date’ for the component maintenance program by adding the threshold value in the part progam to the component induction date. If the threshold value is not available, the system calculates the ‘next scheduled date’ by adding the interval value of the part program to the manufacture date of the component as defined in the “Aircraft” business component. If the manufacture date is not available, the system arrives at the ‘next scheduled date’ by adding the component induction date to the interval value.
The system allows you to overwrite / delete task from the Part Program / Component Program, only if the process parameter “Allow modification of Eng. Doc. task in Maintenance Program” is set as “Allowed” in the “Define Process Entities” activity of the “Common Master” business component.
On addition of task to a Component Maintenance Program, schedules are copied to “Edit Date Based Schedule Information” and “Edit usage Based Schedule Information” page of the current business component. The system updates the computation basis controls ‘Next Due Calc. On’, ‘Calc. Ref. Value / Date’ and ‘Last Schedule Date / Value in these pages, as shown in the below table:
