This page allows you to copy the part program to multiple parts. Tell me more.
Select the “Copy Program To Part #” link at the bottom of the “Edit Part Program Information” page.
The “Copy Program to Part #” page appears.
The system displays the following in the “Copy From” group box:
Part # |
The number identifying the part whose details are to be copied. |
Part Description |
The textual description of the part. Zoom facility available. |
Maintenance Process |
The maintenance process of the part which could be “Hard-Time”, “On-Condition” or “Condition Monitoring”. |
Enter the following in the “Associate To” multiline:
Part # |
The number identifying the part to which the details are to be copied. The part should have already been defined in the "Create Parts Main Information” activity of the “Part Administration” business component and must be in the “Active” status. Also the maintenance program should not have already been defined for the part. |

Part Description |
The textual description of the part. |
Copied Date |
The date on which the details are copied. |
Note: Ensure that at least one row is entered in the multiline.
Click the “Copy Program” pushbutton to copy the maintenance program to the part entered in the multiline.
The system performs the following for all the parts entered in the multiline:
Copies the work unit, resource, package type and part requirements, and the schedule details.
Sets the “Program Defined” field is as “Yes”.
Updates the “Updated By” field with the name of the currently logged in user.
Copying program to part - An overview
This page allows you to copy the part program to multiple parts. You can enter the part number to which the part program details are to be copied. The system displays the description of the part. The system copies the work units, resource and part requirement, and the schedule information of the parts entered in the multiline. The system updates the details and stores the name of the currently logged in user and the current server date.
