Basics of using a typical web page

Using Online Help

In this page, you can specify the advanced search criteria to retrieve the work unit details. You can specify the unique number to identify the search ID. You can carry out the search based on the ATA chapter, zone, component family, component ID, engineering order, fleet campaign directive, task group or plan item group.

The “Set Advanced Search Options” page appears.

The system displays the following:

Adv. Search ID

A unique number identifying the advanced search criteria (Alphanumeric, 30). Mandatory. This can be combination of characters and digits. This number must be unique for the organization unit.

ATA #

The number identifying the ATA chapter (Alphanumeric, 16). The ATA chapter number must have been created in the “Create ATA chapter” activity of the “Aircraft” business component and must be in “Active” status. The system retrieves the work units that are associated to the ATA chapter entered here. Leave the field blank to retrieve all the work units irrespective of the ATA chapter number.

Zone #

The number identifying the zone (Alphanumeric, 15). The system retrieves the work units that are associated to the zone entered here. Leave the field blank to retrieve all the work units irrespective of the zone.

Component Family #

The number identifying the component family (Alphanumeric, 25). Leave the field blank to retrieve all the work units irrespective of the component family.

Component #

The number identifying the component (Alphanumeric, 90). Leave the field blank to retrieve all the work units irrespective of the component.

EO #

The number identifying the engineering order (EO) (Alphanumeric, 18). The system retrieves all the work units that are associated to the EO specified here. Leave the field blank to retrieve all the work units irrespective of the engineering order.

FCD #

The number identifying the fleet campaign directive (FCD) (Alphanumeric, 18). The system retrieves all the work units that are associated to the FCD specified here. Leave the field blank to retrieve all the work units irrespective of the flight campaign directive (FCD).

Task Group

Use the drop-down to select the task group. The system retrieves all the work units that are grouped under the task group specified here. Select “-Blank-“ to ignore this filter criteria.. Leave this field blank if you wish to retrieve the work units grouped under all task groups as well as under the plan item group selected in the “Plan Item Group” field.

Plan Item Group

Use the drop-down to select the plan item group. The system retrieves all the work units that are grouped under the plan item group specified here. Select “-Blank-“ to ignore this filter criteria. . Leave this field blank if you wish to retrieve the work units grouped under all plan item groups as well as under the task group selected in the “Task Group” field.  

Customer #

The number identifying the customer, who owns the aircraft (Alphanumeric, 18). You can enter the customer number in full or specify it partially using the “*” character. The system retrieves all the visit packages created for the customer number entered here. Leave the field blank to retrieve all the work units irrespective of the customer.

Customer Name

The name of the customer owning the aircraft (Alphanumeric, 40). You can enter the customer name in full or specify it partially using the “*” character. The system retrieves all the visit packages created for the customer name entered here.

Note: The “Customer #” and “Customer Name” fields are applicable only when the aircraft is not self-owned and the customer details are recorded in the system.

Note: Ensure that at least one field is entered among the search criteria fields in the “Advanced Search Criteria” group box.
