Modifying visit package quick codes
This activity allows you to modify the details of the quick codes that are already defined.
Select the “Edit Quick Codes” link under the “Visit Package” business component.
The “Edit Quick Codes” page appears.
The system displays the following field:
Date Format |
The format in which the date fields are displayed in this page. This format is displayed from the “User Preferences” business component based on the login user ID. In case the format is not defined, the system displays the date format from the “Enterprise Modeling” business component by default. |
Enter the following filter criteria in the “Search Criteria” group box, to search for a quick code. Data entry in the following fields is optional:
Quick Code Type |
Use the drop-down list box to specify the type of the quick code for which the details are to be modified. The system retrieves all the quick codes that are of the type specified here. The system displays “Task Group”, “Visit Group” and “User Status” and sets the field to “Task Group” by default. |
Status |
Use the drop-down list box to select the status of the quick code to be modified. The system provides the options “Active” and “Inactive”. Leave this field blank, to retrieve quick codes irrespective of their status. The system displays “Active” by default. |
Click the “Search” pushbutton, to display the search results.
The system displays the following field in the “Search Results” multiline based on the filter criteria entered:
Quick Code |
The quick code for which the details are to be modified. |
Enter the following fields:
Description |
The textual description of the quick code (Alphanumeric, 25). Mandatory. This field should not be left blank. |
Status |
Use the drop-down list box to modify the status of the quick code. The system provides the options “Active” or “Inactive”. Set the status as “Inactive”, if you wish to disable the quick code from future reference in other activities. |
The system displays the following fields:
Created By |
The name of the user who created the quick code. |
Created Date |
The date on which the quick code was created. |
Last Modified By |
The name of the user who modified the quick code. |
Last Modified Date |
The date on which the quick code was last modified. |
Click the “Edit Quick Codes” pushbutton, to update the modified details of the quick code.
Activate or In-activate the quick code

You can inactivate a quick code hat is in the “Active” status, so that it is disabled from future reference in other activities.
Provide filter criteria to search for the quick code to be inactivated.
In the “Search Results” multiline, set the Status field to “Inactive”, to disable a quick code.
On clicking the “Edit Quick Codes” pushbutton, the system updates the status of the quick code to “Inactive”.
