Set options – A summary of the activity

This activity allows you to configure the following system parameters :

• The authority to authorize deferment request for aircraft work units and component work units, and the allocation revision method for the aircraft work scope and component work scope.  

• Specify if indefinite deferral of maintenance works can be allowed due to resource constraints or other reasons.

• Allow/disallow automatic preclusion work units for component removals and for on-wing jobs.

• The number of days for which the work units and part requirement details must be retrieved, while allocating work unit,

• The number of stop over days to be considered while updating the line package details in the “Line Planning and Control” business component.

• Allow/disallow the modification of interval between maintenance programs.

• The basis for changing the schedule of a maintenance task.

• Allow/disallow the successive deferral of maintenance task.

• The planning horizon in days for job allocation and gate planning

• The category of material requests automatically generated for maintenance tasks.

The system saves the option settings and stores the name of the login user. The current server date is set as the last modified date.
