Adv. Search ID

The unique number that identifies the advanced filter criteria to search for the work unit (Alphanumeric, 30). Mandatory. Ensure that this is a positive number and unique to the login user.

Remaining FH  <=

The flight hours remaining before the forecasted arising of the pending work units (Decimal). Ensure that this is a positive value. The system retrieves all the work units whose scheduled value lies in the range of values specified here, with due consideration to other options in the main page.

Note: Remaining FH = Scheduled Value –Current Value.

Remaining FC  <=

The flight cycles remaining before the forecasted arising of the pending work units (Decimal). Ensure that this is a positive value. The system retrieves all the work units whose scheduled value lies in the range of values specified here, with due consideration to other options in the main page.

ATA #

The code that identifies the system in the aircraft where the maintenance activity is performed (Alphanumeric, 16). Ensure that the ATA chapter is already defined in the “Create ATA Chapter” activity of the “Aircraft” business component and is in the “Active” status. The system retrieves all the work units associated with the ATA number specified here, with due consideration to other options in the main page.

Zone #

The code identifying the zone in the aircraft where the maintenance activity must be performed (Alphanumeric, 15). Ensure that the zone is already defined in the “Create Zones” activity of the “Aircraft” business component and is in the “Active” status. The system retrieves all the work units associated with the zone number specified here, with due consideration to other options in the main page.

Component Family #

The number identifying the component family (Alphanumeric, 25). The system retrieves all the work units associated with the component family number specified here, with due consideration to other options in the main page.

Part #

The part number of the component (Alphanumeric, 40). The system retrieves all the work units associated with the part number specified here, with due consideration to other options in the main page.

Serial #

The serial number of the component (Alphanumeric, 40). The system retrieves all the work units associated with the serial number specified here, with due consideration to other options in the main page.

Work Unit Type

Use the drop-down list box to select the type of the work unit. The system provides the options, “Task”, “Standard Procedure” and “Work Package”. The system retrieves all the work units associated with the type of work unit specified here, with due consideration to other options in the main page.

Position Code

The code that identifies the position in the part on which the maintenance activity must be performed (Alphanumeric, 25). The system retrieves all the work units associated with the position code specified here, with due consideration to other options in the main page.

MCR Doc Type

Use the drop-down list box to select the type of the Maintenance Change Request (MCR) document. The system lists all the MCR document types defined in the “Create MCR Document Type” activity of the “Common Master” business component. The system retrieves all the work units associated with the type of MCR document specified here, with due consideration to other options in the main page.

Position Type

Use the drop-down list box to select the type of the position code. The system lists the options, "Engine", "APU", “Landing Gears” and “Others”. The system leaves the field blank by default.

Setting advanced search criteria to search for work units – An overview

This option allows you to set the advanced search criteria to search for work units. You can specify a unique number to identify the advanced search criteria.

You can specify the remaining flight hours, remaining flight cycles, ATA number, zone number, component family number, part number and serial number as the advanced search criteria. You can also specify the work unit type, position type, MCR document type and position code.
