Mapping documents to a buyer group
This page allows you to map document types to a buyer group. Tell me more.
Select the “Edit Document Mapping” link in the “Create Buyer Group” page.
The “Edit Document Mapping” page appears.
The system displays the following fields in the “Buyer Group” group box:

The system displays the following field in the “Map Document” multiline:
Document |
The document type that can be mapped to the buyer group. The system displays “Blanket Purchase Order”, “Purchase Order”, “Purchase Request”, “Repair Order” or “ “Release Slip”. |
Enter the following field:
Map? |
Use the drop-down list box to specify whether to map the document type to the selected buyer group. The system displays the options, “Yes” and “No”. Select “Yes”, if you wish to map the document to the buyer group. The system sets the field blank by default. |
Note: Ensure at least one document type is mapped to the buyer group.
Check the box in the “Select” column of the multiline, to select the document type for deletion.
Click the Delete icon in the tool bar above the multiline, to delete the selected document type.
Click the “Edit Document Mapping” pushbutton, to map the document type to the buyer group.
Mapping documents to a buyer group – An overview
This page allows you to map document types to a buyer group. You can map purchase order, blanket purchase order, release slip, purchase request, repair order and exchange order documents. A buyer group has access rights to add, modify and view only those document types that are mapped to it.
You can specify the buyer group for which you need to map the document types. You can select document types and map it to the specified buyer group.

You can map document types, such as purchase order, blanket purchase order, release slip, purchase request, repair order and exchange order, to a buyer group. A buyer group has access rights to add, modify and view only those document types that are mapped to it.
Set the "Map?” field in the multiline to “Yes”, if you wish to map the document to the selected buyer group.
Set the “Map ?” field in the multiline to “No”, if you do not wish to map the document to the selected buyer group.
Click the “Edit Document Mapping” pushbutton, to map the documents to the selected buyer group.
The system maps the selected documents to the buyer group.
