Viewing technical and attribute parameter information of component family

Select the “View Technical & Attribute Parameters” link at the bottom of the main page.

The “View Technical &Attribute Parameters” page appears.

The system displays the following in the “Component Family Details” group box:

Component Family #	The component family selected in the main page for which the technical and attribute parameters are displayed.
Component Family Description	The textual description of the component family.

The system displays the following details in the “Parameter Details” multiline:

Parameter	The parameter attached to the selected component family.
UOM	The unit of measurement of the parameter.
Parameter Type	The type of the parameter, which can be either “Technical” or “Attribute”.
Parameter Source	The source from which the parameter value is updated. The source can be one of the following:
	Flight Log - indicates that the parameter value is updated from the flight log.
	Manual - indicates that the parameter value is updated manually.
	Parent - indicates that the parameter value is updated from the parameter source defined for the parent component.
	Calculated indicates that the parameter value is updated based on the formula associated to the parameter. This formula depicts the mathematical relationship of the parameter with the participating parameters. When one or all the participating parameters are updated, the formula based parameter will be automatically updated.
	The system leaves the field blank for a technical parameter.
Value	The value defined for the attribute parameter.
Parameter Description	The description of the parameter.

Viewing technical and attribute parameter information of component family – An overview

This page allows you to view the technical and attribute parameters that have been defined for the selected component family. Details of the component family such as its number and description are displayed, along with the parameter details such as the description, unit of measurement, parameter type, parameter source from which the parameter must be updated, and the values of attribute parameters.
